PHOENIX WRIGHT ACE ATTORNEY

Nintendo DS

Not everyone is innocent until proven guilty! Star as a defence attorney who must prove his seemingly guilty client’s innocence no matter how dire the circumstances may seem!
Phoenix Wright, the weirdest defence lawyer in town needs your help, badly. Without it, his clients are going to jail and he'll be in the dock for incompetence! His cross-examination skills are wacky, his court manner is crazy and the people he's defending are oddballs. But with your help he might just crack his cases, save the innocent, win the heart of his gorgeous boss Mia... and truly become an ace attorney!

The game is split into two main parts: the Detective section and the Courtroom section. The Detective part of the game has you collecting evidence and gathering clues by visiting crime scenes and interviewing witnesses about the event. Just make sure you search for every vital piece of information before the court goes to session…

In the Courtroom section you then listen to testimony before given the chance to cross-examine the current witness. Look for holes or contradictions in the witness testimony by asking for specific details or by showing evidence that proves otherwise! But be careful… you only have 5 lives when the Court is in session and you’ll lose a life each time you make a mistake... and if all 5 lives are lost the Judge rules in favour of the Prosecutor and your case is over!

To assist you in each case, the game uses the DS’ dual screen, touch screen and microphone. Search locations using the touch screen, and shout “Objection” into the mic to contradict witnesses. So get ready to defend some crazy characters and cross swords with powerful attorneys as Phoenix Wright goes to Court…

  • Investigate – use dual screens to delve deep into the crime scenes, gather evidence and interview witnesses. Can you find the clues to build your case?
  • Interrogate – tear apart prosecution witnesses in tense cross-examinations, present evidence and unmask the real criminals in court.
  • Objection! – five complex cases of criminal lunacy to crack. Stop court proceedings by calling "objection" into the DS's microphone and save your client in the nick of time!
