Dead Rising 1 for PS3! Put your name down for it!
I first played Dead Rising 1 in 2008, and immediately fell in love, the way the story was written made me want to play it every minute of the day every single day, but because I was only young I had school and loads of work, At the time I was playing on my brothers Xbox 360, and to put it bluntly... He never got much time on unless I was doing work.
I know people have tried this before and have failed but you never know, this might be the one that makes it work, if enough people support it.
To be honest, Dead Rising 2 filled my craving for zombie blood for a while, but it got boring, Off The Record was the same, combo weapons are only good for the first time players, I miss the good old days, back when you had to actually do work for things you wanted, you had to work hard, play the game till your fingers hurt and your eyes were sore, at that point all you could do was fill yourself up on caffeine and keep going, the trophies and achievements for the newer games are, in no disrespect, of poor quality to the point were a young child could get them with ease. If you brought Dead Rising 1 out for the PS3 I guarantee that you would get more than 1 million sales, because so many PS3 users would love to play it. You did it for the Wii, you can do it for the PS3.
Thanks for reading this and I hope it will come true,

I genuinely think it's a bad idea.
Dead Rising's pretty niche at best, so a re-release of a pretty niche game which is noted for its questionable mechanics seems like a bad business decision.

What's holding it back is probably the fact that its a 6 year old game and it looked fledgling at the time, let alone in an age where HDTVs are the norm. And then there are the music tracks used for boss fights which either warrant more royalties to the artists or possibly new artists to fill the void.
Personally, I would love to see it remade with DR2's combat systems, but I doubt that would happen.

I would buy that again!

I Hope that we don't see Chop Til You Drop ported with Move compatibility, because that would be a real shame, it wasn't terrible as a game, but it was certainly the most lacking of the versions out there and whilst the story was 90% intact, the absurdity of zombie poodles ( I'm not even joking) and other needless additions does it no justice. The PS3 deserves the Xbox360 grade or higher, as it would have to stand near toe-to-toe with Dead Rising 2, and having an inferior version released much later would not do it much of a favour.
Whilst Off The Record was an interesting interpretation, it was both non-canon and confusing to play as someone who was in an Xbox360(and [cough]Wii[/cough]) exclusive, a DR1 remake/port would be great, but it's a lingering possibility, unfortunately.
