Finding the Signature Series Guide in the UK

I've been hearing some really good things about this guide recently. I'm desperate to purchase one, having looked at the preview and seen how impressive it is first hand. Hell, a 400-page fighting game guide can only be a good thing as far as I'm concerned!

Just one small problem...

It doesn't seem to exist in the UK! I cannot find it anywhere! It's not in any retail stores, and it's not listed anywhere online, save for Amazon where it fetches for £28 on Amazon Marketplace. This is, of course, a total joke and I'm not paying that for something my American brethren will pay $10-20 for.

I'm wondering if a Capcom rep can help me out on this one: Is the guide actually out in the UK? If it is, where on earth can I purchase it; if it isn't: why not, and will it come out in the future?

You 'guys' seem reluctant to take my money recently...

I pre-ordered mine from Amazon on the 25th of last month for £9.75 (shoryukentothechin gave us all a heads up in a thread on here a while back).

I just checked my order and they are sending mine out apparently next Tuesday but they've now also sold out so I guess I am lucky to have purchased it when I did? I feel you though mate as you are correct in saying that the new pre-order listings on amazon are now going for £27.99!

On Cpacom Unity a while back there were official blog posts saying how well the book was selling in the US on Amazon so I can only assume that its sold out over here and that its just people now selling the few that are left for the crazy inflated prices?

Preordered mine from the Book Depository and with discount code it was £8.64 with free delivery. I got it sitting in front of me now.

My pre-order details were pretty much the same as the info you listed - but I checked Amazon this morning and now my order now says "Not yet dispatched. We'll notify you via e-mail when we have an estimated delivery date for this item. It will be dispatched separately. You can cancel at any time."

Is yours also saying the same now? ...there's no way I'm going to cancel considering the price I got it for!

Mine has changed to no date now as the book is out of stock from Amazon. Heck, I don't think they even got any in Amazon UK.

I might cancel and get it elsewhere...it's pretty weird how this how MvC3 game and book orders have been very...empty. No book, no game.

Yeah it is very strange. I got a follow up email saying...

"Hello,

We regret to inform you that your order will take longer to fulfill than originally estimated. Our supplier has notified us that there is a delay obtaining stock for the following items you ordered on January 25 2011.

edit: I've just ordered it from amazon.com instead seeing as they have it in stock (£7.63 + Expedited Postage of £8.02) for the total of £15.65.
