Unhappy Mouse problem

I have adjusted the sensitivity of the config.ini file. My problem is that I want a lower sensitivity. No matter what sensitivity I select in the game or in the ini file, the game will not detect small mouse movements. This leads to uneven Aiming and the game is completely ruined for me. I have a Roccat Cone v2.0 mouse. Latest drivers on all hardware.
Must I wait for an update?

Otherwise, a very promising game!
Thanks

Go to your "Documents" folder, open CAPCOM\LOST PLANET 2\config.ini file and change "MouseBaseSpeed" to 6.000000.

As said. I've already tried it. The sensitivity is higher when I set it to 6.000000. but too high for my taste. Regardless the game will not notice the small mouse Movements. When I move the mouse across the mat slowly, nothing happens. If I shoot and try to compensate for the recoil, it is almost impossible because the movement of the mouse is not being registered.
