Why is dead rising 2 so bad!!!!

Ive played dead rising 2 now since i got it this morning and all i can say is that it is one of the WORST games i have played basicaly they have taken the 1st one and done nothing but put it in a new location and taken out the camera oh and added customised weapond which is good for a little while but you don't get time to look around for the diffrent componants to make them.

So far the story is plain boring and killing zombies can only be entertaining for so long befor you get bored unless you have the maturity level of a 10yr old!!!

This would have been better if they had actualy made this a survival horror rather than a so called comedy horror.

Basicaly my point is that this game wont take long to complete and its gets boring to easy, snakes and ladders is more entertaining than this lol

This is just my opinion and im getting a refund tomoz.

Since you obviously own an x-box that would be your opinion since I own a PS3, this is my first time experience of dead rising and I absolutly love it. Masses of zombies and crazy combo weapons make the game so much more fun and interesting. I think the game will be a smash hit on PS3, I'm unsure for the xbox though.

Loved the fist one Loved Case Zero and I am loving DR2.

Dead Rising is not meant to be a sereous game it ment to be tongue in cheek.

I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

While I've not completed it yet, the plot so far feels way better than the original, Chuck feels better as a character and has better motivation for his goals.

The combo weapons add a sense of uniqueness to Chuck, he's got a mechanical mind from being in motocross, so you get the feeling it's his forte whereas Frank West's speciality is photography, it's not really a case of "no photos, no fun", truth is, Chuck isn't Frank. Simple.

The map is far bigger, so far I've been trying to stick to the story and get all the cases and save as many people as I can first time, so much so, I dare not explore unless not in a serious game session since I can genuinely get lost at this point and not make it back in time, I find it anything but boring as I'm pressed for time to the point where its almost stressful and daunting to head out.

Of course, it's still Dead Rising so there are bound to be similarities in there, but its as deep as you want it to be, you could spend all day and night finding ridiculous ways to kill zombies, or you can try to save everyone and sacrifice the plot or vice versa.

tl;dr - I love it.

I've completed it twice and will be diving straight back in again later today. I don't see how you can not like this if you liked the first one, it's an awesome game.

A friend of mine got it on Thursday and was telling me all yesterday that it was terrible, although another friend was saying that if I love DR1 then I'll love this.

And I do love it. Sure it has its faults, but overall it's one of my favourite games ever.
