Hi all,
I just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone who turned up to play Monster Hunter with us at the MCM Expo. It was great to see so much support for a game thats been out for so long already, but more importantly it was great getting help building an Akantor Bow! We also helped a few low-level hunters level up, which means theyre able to join in on almost all of the high level quests when we next meet.
As many of you will no doubt already know, when Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is released next year your Monster Hunter Freedom 2 save game will export wholesale. That means every piece of armour and every weapon you own will be transferred intact for use in the next Monster Hunter PSP game (unlike Monster Hunter Freedom 1 to 2, in which almost everything was converted into cash), so for those of us at Capcom towers who play Monster Hunter regularly its all about getting our save game ready for the new content and making sure every hunter in our group is up to scratch. And we want to make sure all of you are ready too, which is why were going to try to hold semi-regular sessions in Central London where we can meet comfortably, safely stowed away from the harsh weather.
Were choosing Central London because thats where we live and work. I realise its not the most convenient for many of you, but its the only real option for us so I can only apologise if youre missing out because you live in Lancashire/Glasgow/Cardiff. I hope some of you can make it, though, if not to the ad-hoc sessions then hopefully to the inevitable gathering for the release of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. All levels are welcome, well be as happy smashing White Fatalis IN THE FACE as we will be taking down Tigrex in four minutes to help you through those Urgent Quests.
More information to follow, so please watch this space. In the meantime, its heartening to see people (like Rayokarna, for instance) already setting up sessions
And finally, Im not on the boards much and am away quite a lot of the next week or two so if you ask me any questions, please dont be offended if I dont reply immediately
And extra-finally - Robert, we have your memory card! It was in Michaels (RTJs) pocket. Suspicious, eh? I dont know what to say. Capcom staff in Stealing From Members Of The Public shocker!
And double-extra-finally - if youre heading to Rebirth (http://www.neoempire.com/rebirth/) on November 9th be sure to bring your PSPs as many of us will be there as much to hunt as to super-focus-cancel.
