Chameleos the chameleon please read!! need help

Its head is its main weakness and if youre using blades youll probably have to spend a little bit on potions and use sonic bombs to make it come out of invisibility. I didnt fight it until I was using HR six grade armer and weapons so if I was you skip it until you have more powerful weapons. Dragon element is a weakness for elder dragons.

Its weak to fire.... Just use a good fire long sword or duals.

Personally I like Hammers on it myself just 3 mix up super pounds and when you get a clean opening on the head 3 hit combo time!
who knows if your lucky it will see stars then just keep 3 hitin its handsome face rinse and repeat

Use the weapon your best with its weak against fire and dragon elements so use those ones.

what Hr are?
if you have or can get smolder dragon sword that would probably the best weapon for him and a lot of other things

you improve your Hr rank by doing Guild Hall quests and there are a few lists on the internet which tell you what quests to do to get up a Hr rank.
And smolder dragon sword is a Hr 5 or 6 weapon thats relatively easy to obtain just a few Azure Laos , it is also IMO and many others one of the best long swords in the game, it is a weapon well worth getting but if your not for that just get devil slicer or True devil slicer (the next one up i think it needs G rank or Hr 3-6? items).
for a stradegy id probably just stay on its head when you get a chance and then just the back legs and it should be done in no time.

OH and for a decent fire long sword just get wyverin balde fall which you just need to fight rathaloss in the guild hall i think they are only 1 or 2 star difficulty.

Getting HR doesnt make you stronger, or give you any extra skills, if you cant be it, put it off, practice, get some better equipment and try again, personally i found chameleos to be the weakest elder dragon (with the exception of rusted kusha with full diablos D/U and TDS).
