Default [PC] Street Fighter 4 - Failed Creating Direct3d device

Hi,

I bought SF4 trough steam one week ago. I played it whitout a problem.
Suddenly yesterday the game start to make this FATAL ERROR: Failed Creating Direct3d device.

I reinstaled DirectX, video card drivers... etc. Reinstaled SF4 downloading it again with Steam...

I can play other games, even I can execute SF4 benchmark!!!!

I dont know what to do now except format

Thanks.

this has just happened to me too after a week of trouble free play!
wtf?

edit: (nxt day) so i re-installed directx and video card drivers and all is well.
will mention that again i had to manually switch on soundcard driver as it had switched itself off.
seems that there are def some conflicts with sf4 and directx.

I had the same problem, here is what I did to fix it: I went to

<My Documents/CAPCOM/SUPERSTREETFIGHTER4>

Opened the config.ini thing and changed the part thas says ''FullScreen=ON'' to ''FullScreen=OFF'' and now I can play it normally. If it doesn't work, try to change anything you know from there. I hope that helps
