New character DLC pricing

The price for the XBox of the new character DLC has been announced as 1600MS points.

I cannot find info on UK PS3 pricing but wondered if we are going to pay the same price or if Capcom-Europe is going to jack-up the price for PS3 players as usual?

MS points = 85p per 100 if bought from XBox Dashboard, this means 1600MS points = £13.60, the price for PS3 should be if it is priced equally and fairly by Capcom.

Is this an accurate PSN price?

I noticed we pay more for the costume grab packs also, 1440MS points = £12.24 but PSN is priced £14, is no wonder the second set got cancelled due to poor sales of the first. Will this ever be corrected?


This game is already seriously hated by many over DLC issues, do you really need create more by overcharging PSN users?

I'm not going to answer the DLC related question as my own thoughts of DLC might well get me into trouble.

The difference in pricing between PSN & XBLA is purely down to exchange rate. Thats it, no great conspiracy by evil Capcom

There is something about a Wesker avatar that makes "no great conspiracy by evil Capcom" seem very crafty and harder to believe

I will take this as "They gonna be £16", which I expected truth be told. But it never hurts to keep bringing it up every game that does this either!

Yep, released today for £16.

Once again PS3 owners are charged significantly more than 360 owners. The exchange rate excuse is bogus, both are sold in UK, 360 UK vs PS3 UK. I'm not comparing US prices, those are even worse.

I'm not a mug so not buying. Charge fanbases equally. Once again extremely disappointed in Capcom.

think its Sony trying to pocket some extra money cus in Norway they think 20$ = 199nkr.

psblog states it was right price at the time of post/update but with exchange rate 20$ = 120nkr

so Norway PSN chargeing 32$ for this DLC
