I've watched the trailer, I can say it would be a good game to play but somehow the atmosphere that the game is showing off is not very original to me. It lacks that special something which makes it a DMC game. But overall it's a decent game i would love to play it now.

Your right, it's missing some of the more supernatural-gloomy style the older ones had.
But I still think this is a good reboot (unlike, for example Square Enix newest Tomb Raider Reboot) as it still has the DMC feeling judging from the trailers.
