Anyone tried the demo yet? How is it? What do you guys think?

I haven't tried it yet but the game seems to have some really nice battles with huge beasts!

Tried the two quests and really liked the battles with the mythical creatures. The character creation system is one of the best I used. Probably one of the first times that I made a character that didn't look weird.

Did a preview on ve3tro. Have a look if you want below. It's also in video format, with some footage from the demo.

Its like a really easy Monster Hunter, I sort of hope there is a super hard mode where the monsters have 10x health and no health bar XD

Default Demo

Been playing the demo recently, its good but its raised a few questions which has had me looking around online but not really finding anything out haha...

Firstly: the move that your pawn does that allows you to throw people in the air.

Is the distance people can be thrown generally/using this move based on the pawns physical build as i have tried with a large male pawn and he has manage to launch me very far and then i customised my pawn to be small & skinny and appeared to not get the same distance or is it more of a timing thing?

Secondly: Crafting.

Picking up ore, feathers & Claws from the Griffin and little goblins have a description that it is used to make amour and weapons. How exactly does this work?

Will it be a case of picking up a pick axe, heading to a mine for a few game days coring out the middle of a mountain to pick ore, then smelting it and then finally using a workbench type of crafting to make your hard work into armour?

Or is it a case of bringing necessary materials to a shop owner and then after all components are collected buying that type of weapon/armour?

Or will it be like my one bit of crafting i managed to do in the demo which was to pick up an item that was dropped by the goblins and blend it with some healing grass to make (i assume) a more powerful healing potion?

And Finally: Item Drops.

Are these randomised through out the different creatures you'll face or is it pretty set that thats what you will get if you kill one?

In the demo, I have managed to get items on some runs and not others so i am assuming that there are varying levels of rarity for items...just need some confirmation on this.

Cant wait for the 26th, seems to be taking ages to get here!

Many Thanks
