I'm quite far into the story and have played through it several times now. So I'd like to help "newer" Dragon Dogma players by using their pawn, also if they're (you) are in need of a decent Fighter pawn I can be of use as well. His knowledge is quite... broad so I'm sure he'll prove to be usefull! ^^

Since all the stuff I find won't be any better then what I'm currently using. I'd pass it up for your pawn if he can use it.

Let me know, I'd be glad to help!

Sure thing, I left the game on a backburner for a bit. But when I play the game again I'll be sure to use your pawn!

What's your PSN ID. If it's somewhere I can't find it, sorry. And what's your pawns inclination? I'm looking for Scather and Acquisitor (even Guardian works as a secondary inclination).
My ID is shuyin89 and my pawn is Illia. Please check out the thread I posted.

My PSN is iMerah, I'll add you the moment I come online. I'll be sure to use your pawn when I'll be back playing the game again. It's on the backburner for a minute, hoping they'll release some larger DLC for Dragon's Dogma. If they ever do that. Regardless I'll play the game so no worries about that.

I made sure my pawn has Scather, the second one is either Guardian or Acquisitor yeah. I can't remember but I'd imagine you could see that for yourself the moment you look up and find my pawn.

That's the problem. Every time I enlist a new pawn, I always check everything, but I never seem to find their inclination. Maybe I'm just missing it.

Ah, well I'll be sure to check the inclination tomorrow (Hope I can remember it, if I haven't before... 2 PM) Send another message. I'm bound do see that one.

Though I'm pretty sure it has Scather, cause that's the one thing mine seemed to lack so I gave it plenty of items from the Rift Shop to make Scather his priority.

Though I've heard that once being enlisted by another Arisen. Their inclination tend to change/vary.

I always have to change my pawn's inclination because for some reason it aways changes to Guardian. Last time Illia was a Mage and I made her Utilitarian and Challenger. After ONE direwolf, and I repeat ONE, only one, it changed to Medicant and Guardian. I must say she never does the job right as a Mage (don't ask me why, unless the AI is alive I wouldn't know how to answer), but as a Sorcerer she rocks. I'd say making good spell casters for others is tough, because everyone always needs a different kind of enchantment or spell, whilest the archers are easy, because what they really need are just a specific group of skills (at least that's what I think). But I'm usually a MK, so I don't really care about pawns' enchantments!

Yeah pawns can certainly use a bit of improvement. But from what I know this is Capcom's first attempt to a game like Dragon's Dogma right? And I still have little to complain about... pretty much nothing considering I've had loads of fun with the game.

Hah, I know what you mean. As a Magick Archer I tend not to care either. Though I've balanced it out a bit so I can take a bit of a beating so I don't KO right away. Also my melee isn't as bad anymore which helps if I want to climb into a monster and just hit away with my daggers.

I'd improve the story a bit, otherwise I liked it a lot. Also I wanted to

(SPOILER ALERT)

kill the damn duke in the end!

Haha, the first time when he turned out to be no good I was like... Ok huh what?

Then the second playthrough I noticed more how much of a cheating lying asshole he was... and a coward arisen!

Then on the third, I pitied him.. So I kept picking the Duke up and setting him down xD.

I still have to do my first NG+, I'm enjoying the Everfall for now (I got from level 50ish to 91 in two days). As soon as I have all I need (dragon forged equipment) I'm starting it again.
I finally understood what was going on when he assaulted Aelinore and I just hated when, in the end, the Arisen just runs away without saying anything in his defense.

Haha yep. I'm not into blondes but my god... she has a cute meter over 9000.

I ended up with Selene with my last 2 playthroughs and I intend to do it again. It just makes a lot of sense as in the end you give your life to your pawn as well.

Since that's what happened to Selene.. a Pawn made human. It made sense to hook up with her for when I grant the gift of life with my pawn!

Yay for story!

That's sick. What is she, twelve??
I would have like Madeleine, I ended up with Aelinore.

iMerah

That's just it.. Selene isn't twelve. In fact she's probably way older then us combined! She used to be a pawn after all!

+ If you follow the story, it really isn't that weird to hook up with Selene. As you will give your body to your pawn once you die.

Cause if you look more closely. every pawn start to resemble the arisen.
