Thankyou to whoever was involved in putting this together and making it happen for Europe.
So annoying when CE are not even released in this country, especially when DLC is involved because then you face the issue of alternate country PSN IDs, or needed buy a standard UK copy in addition to US one, especially in 360s case.
Think I'm gonna go with a CE for one console and steelbook for the other. Not sure which gets the CE yet, no real difference.
Can we get a price please?

OK shopto have it at a much more reasonable £45, which was actually the price of standard RE6 which they seemed to have replaced with the steelbook. Perhaps the zavvi listing is for the CE and they just got the name wrong, no details on the actual product aside from general RE6/pre-order bonus text.

Now I really hope I get this job I'm waiting on, because I may actually be able to afford this if I do.

Also, agreed with deadmeat, well done to whoever pushed hard enough for this to get a release over here...it was getting kind of depressing that we never got anything decent...

Just came back from Berlin and thats great news but what for rest of Europe,will it be on sale normaly?
The steelbook should be the same price as the vanilla version, I see Zavvi have now put their price to £45. The collector’s edition is on sale at Amazon France for €149 (which is around £120 at current exchange rates) i don't expect to see it anywhere else round Europe for any more.
Steelbook and CE available round Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australia and NZ from various stores and retailers, i'll let you know via the blog more details as and when i have them...
And thank you for the nice comments, i always promised you that we do nice things when we can for our Fans in CEE markets. Hopefully this is proof?

This edition is more than what i expected it to be like compare to past editions,its amazing.I always loved Capcom no matter what others said of it and i m glad to be a fan of a company that shows support and is friendly with the fans.Eventought Capcom makes some mistakes sometimes but they always see to fix these.Thx the whole team that made this edition possible for us in Europe.:D

Just to clarify the Collector's Edition does not have any of the past RE titles included.

Any word on which UK retailers will stock the collector's edition? I keep checking GAME, play.com etc but has anyone heard anything?
So I noticed the blog post links to game.co.uk for the UK listing.
Please tell me this is not GAME exclusive? Nobody wants anything to do with the company since its financial troubles and masses of cancellations on pre-orders on regular games, plus other games special editions.
If it is GAME and you pre-order with them, beware that because of the financial mess they in now they will legally refuse a refund on the deposit should they fail to stock the game. Your money will just be robbed.
They also always more expensive on CEs than anybody else.
Can UK not use amazon like france? Or shopto?

It will be announced as a Game exclusive today. Game have had their troubles over the past 6 months but are now on much more firm footing which is why we agreed that they would be our exclusive retail partner on the Collector's Edition.
If we thought there was any chance of any problems with the RE6 CE and Game we would have gone with another retailer.

Well that is disappointing, they burned me and thousands of others on too many pre-orders already so they not getting my money, plus they are asking £130 for it, that is a ridiculous price.
Looking at the amount of actual content in this CE I expected an £75-100 price, with £100 really pushing it.
Look at Uncharted 3 Fortune Hunter Edition:
Special game case that mimics Drake's Journal
All the pre-order bonus from several retailers included
Additional DLC and bonuses
Nathan Drake statue/figurine - Quite a large one (8 inches as a rough guess), good quality an detail
Replica Drake belt buckle
Replica Drake necklace and signature ring
Plus all the content is store in a rather large wooden treasure chest (can hold 20 or so PS3 games), really great quality, had leather straps and metal buckles to lock/secure it.
Lot of good quality content and was only £100, as nice as the RE6 CE is it doesn't offer the same level of content so I expected it to be cheaper.

i heard the collectors edition is £129.99 in GAME! i wont be gettin this its far too expensive. was really lookin forward to it.
If it went to multiple retailers it would be cheaper, GAME always pull this with exclusives, because if you want it you got no choice.
A mini store will be live intime for RE6 but unfortunatly won't have this Collectors Edition.
As mentioned before we don't set price on any of our titles thats the retailers decision. Legally we're unable to instruct what a price should be set to. What i would say is that we're in Europe and you should shop around, you might find it cheaper to purchase elsewhere.

Tought will it be possible to pre-order/order it form the Capcom Store when its open as the other Capcom Stores offer the option to pre-order their editions and standard,also will have to get Revelations as theres an unknown issue why it isn´t on sale here.

In germany its Gamestop exclusive for 149€. A joke.
The game costs 60€. So all the other things in that CE costs 90€. Its a total rip off. 90€ for a hoodie, some emblems a DLC and an artbook. Oh, and Avatar clothing / Theme and the needle box. That price is pathetic.
If thered be a statue or something, then maybe 150€ would be ok. For those things that are inside this CE, no, its not worth an extra 90€, in no way.
From a collecting viewpoint the badges may be worth some cash, but not sure of the quality of them.
I agree with you though on the content, the CE costs £85 more than just the game, but look how little you get for that.
Is as bad as no CE at this price.

aye man ur totally right. i usually buy my games online its usually cheaper online anyway. however that price tag of £129.99 is beyond ridiculous. i really wanted the avatar and that hoodie. but looks like i wont be getting it :(

It wasn't a direct comparison, My point was that Collectors/Limited Edition products are dedicated to collectors and the loyal/enthusiast fanbase, and they tend to be expensive. I'm not saying RE6CE is dirt cheap, actually I think It's a bit (10 eu) expensive, but not that expensive.
If you want the CE, just wait a bit longer.

Dedicated ? To who ? To some stupid people who throw their money away for something they dont need at all ? True, that is right.
And its also true, compare this CE with other CE, lets say Halo Reach Legendary Edition. It was cheaper and you get a huuuuuuge statue. RE6 has a hoodie which is probably worth 10€, the emblems which will have the most value, but are very useless.... and the rest is not even worth mentioning.
Also, compare the EU CE with the Anthology/Archives Editions in the US, Anthology/Archives Editions get a lot of better things ( Anthology : RE 1,2,3,4HD, 6 - Archives : 4HD, CVX HD, 5 Gold, Degeneration movie and 6 ) to a cheaper price ( 90$ ).
So, you can look and think about it how you want, but a price of 150€ for THIS is just a joke. But, as we all know capcom, they need more money, like always.

I dont moan nor did i ever ask for a CE, i just point out the huge difference in quality and price compared to other companies CE´s.

Its due the exclusive retailers the the price is up,i guess that when CE Store is open it will be much cheaper also in countries without a exclusive retailer aswell.
Anyway its a big start and things may not always be perfect but over time things will be corrected.

Because at this price we may as well not have a CE? Take away the cost of the steelbook and we're left with £85-90 for the rest.
It is barely worth £35. You just don't get much and it isn't like it top quaity stuff offered.
So as an educated consumer who recognised an attempted mugging for a price I will voice complaints everytime Capcom does this until we finally get CEs for games at reasonable prices.

Making it exclusive didn't help at all, no price competitition then between retailers, going with GAME was probably even worse since they well known for being expensive anyway plus with exclusives they crank the price up, also well known for that. GAME wanted £60 for the SFxT CE, other retailers were selling it £42-45, when the exclusive Mass Effect 3 N7 Edition fell through it could be found £15-20 cheaper at the other retailers it went to, this is what GAME is.

Capcom needs more money, you should know that :D So ofc a CE is not sold for a reasonable price, it has to be capcomish.
Cant wait until they release Super Hyper Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Final Arcade Edition Ultra. Or something like this, just to make more money. The CE´s are just a welcomed alternative to make money in a different way.
