Does anybody agree that 08 was an amazing game, there was issues yes but the racing online was so close, I remember having 12 in a lobby at one time all very fast and having a different winner on each circuit, I think the key to this game was that it is alot easier to go quick so it meant epic racing online, i really miss it because nothing has been the same ever since, the new one's are really quite rubbish, Capcom should bring another out using similar settings as 08, the sound, the speed, the handling etc was bang on! Iv been going on GP 08 recently to try and get some races going online but had no such luck, surely some of you out there miss the epic racing from 08?! COME PLAY!

08 was not just an amazing game, it was a excelent game but you gotta see the new one as an improvement , you will find this amzing too after you get used to it. But that's just my opinion. :)
Yep 08 was a good game but have to agree with headcom that 10/11 is better.
I have come back to 10/11 after a break and playing SBK and still think Monumental did such a great job with this game.
There are only a few things missing to complete it IMHO.
MotoGP 10/11 is such a hard game to master that there are not many people willing to put the time in to get consistent enough to lap with the really fast guys. Practice makes perfect !
I'm still 15-30 seconds behind at the finish of a race but still having Fun :)
The handling and physics model of this game are fantastic !
Stick with it !

I guess it takes all kinds to make the world go round, but I bet a census would prevail that Monumental ruined MotoGP gaming completely.. :wave:
Well i have played moto 08 recently and i have to say it pure arcade tot.
Its a slot machine game.its not the worst but every sbk from 2001 kicks its arse.
As for 9/10/11 those games are by far the worst ever.i dont know what it is but it aint no bike.i cant understand what the lads get out of it..apart from dissapointment.

The MotoGP series as a whole is becoming more and more of a joke, although its nice to see Rossi returning to Yamaha for some great battles next season...
If you play moto10/11 because your mates do and you all have fun thats great and i can understand that.
But having played it and being good at it i can safely say it gets more stupid the faster you go.if you tootle about slow it feels ok but nail it and it becomes utter garbage.nothing like any bike ever made in any way.....its absolute rubbish.
Now stop wasting your time and play sbk..
