Devil May Cry - Nightmare 3

OK, I'm playing the first game in the series...

I'm in the 20th mission, the third battle against Nightmare(the monster that teleport you in another dimension).

I almost killed him, and Trish shocked Dante. Killing him because after the cut scene Dante was been cut by Nightmare(she distract me and I had few life).

Console restarted, the second time I was prepared... and after killed Nightmare it "used a green orb"... 1/6 of life bar reset. Dante died again because I relaxed in the last part of battle.

Why this?? What should have been happened? Another "in battle" cut scene??

Trish's interference is the only of its kind. You just have to make sure that you don't stay in the segment of the arena where Trish is closest. If I remember correctly, she'll be on the right side of the screen on the other side of the barrier, and if you loiter around she'll try and fry you.

Handle Nightmare as you would have done in other battles. Using Air Raid if you can, or even Inferno if you have it (which would require Ifrit) when Nightmare reveals its core.

By the way, Nightmare used again "a green orb"... and Mundus was easier.
