View Full Version : Killer 7 Dino Crisis Resident Evil DMC
first of all, I miss Inafune at first place with making Megaman games as the producer of the games.
but on 2nd place and this is more for the massa market not just Megaman fans; wouldn't it be great if Mikami goes back to where he belongs and in this case Capcom? now at the moment I play all my Megaman games and Resident Evil 3 4 and 5 Deadly silence and veronica the ones I have and I miss Mikami as the creator of these games?
considering the fact that Inafune is now head of R&D studios in general, Takeuchi gets the big titles now at these times like Lost Planet 2 and Resident Evil 5 and maybe 6 and maybe Kobayashi can help for the next resi title and DMC title, wouldnt it be great to help these guys with the mastermind Mikami and call him back? I always will believe Capcom stays my ultimate company! and If I didnt had a girlfriend who plays also non capcom games I only had Capcom games just believe me, but I miss a littel bit the Capcom time between 1990 and 2005 those were 15 great years! but even if Mikami does not go back to capcom;
what do you think about (tenebra tell this on the producers capcom japan!)
Resident Evil 6 (the same step please as maded from 3 to 4 and now from 5 to 6 about revolutionary thing)
Dino Crisis 4
Killer 9 (more sick please than Killer 7 and 8 ever was because if you want a revolutionary game this is it!, and not the No More Heroes my apologys spike! really sorry it must be No More Heroes Stuff or game, sorry therefore... .)
Devil May Cry 5
Mega Man X9 (360 style or 16 bit snes style doesnt matter I just want the game)
Mega Man Legends 3
Haunting Ground 2
Vieuwtiful Joe 3
PN04 (PN03 sequel)
Dead Phoenix 360 Style
God Hand 360 style
Do I keep must go on?
Oh and something else not Capcom 5 (mikami related) thing please dont do it.
Multiplatform strategy means: 360 3 Wii and PC version and off course all the games you create now is single player and multiplayer offline splitscreen and online.
or is this just an utopia?
other opinions please from this forum?

I don't want Kobayashi-san touching another Devil May Cry title again. He butchered Devil May Cry 4 in more ways than one, irrelevant if the game still had redeeming qualities. The franchise needs to be shaken up and I just don't see him as being the person to do that.
As for Shinji Mikami, he works for PlatinumGames now, so I very much doubt he will ever return to Capcom. It's a shame as he's one of my most idolised folks in the industry.
As for those games, it's a tough world when we can't get the games we desire. Many of those won't ever be developed due to the lack of demand, financial benefits etc.

Vieuwtiful Joe 3
I miss Joe, Silvia and Captain Blue so much!!
what do you think about (tenebra tell this on the producers capcom japan!)
Resident Evil 6 (the same step please as maded from 3 to 4 and now from 5 to 6 about revolutionary thing)
There is more than likely going to be a RE6, given how popular the franchise is and how they are planning to "reboot" the series, this will probably introduce a different control system, doubt it will be a "revolution", just different.
Dino Crisis 4
I'd like to see that, I doubt we will though, otherwise we would have seen or heard of it by now, the series ended in a fairly bad way, it's more than likely going to be a reboot or remake of the original rather than a sequel, or though I would not mind either.
Killer 9 (more sick please than Killer 7 and 8 ever was because if you want a revolutionary game this is it!, and not the No More Heroes Edit Spike Language)
There was a Killer 8? (did I miss something? do correct me if im wrong), I think that was a fairly contained title, a Wiimake that utilizes the Wiimote properly would be pretty cool since it was hard to play with a pad, It was too insane for me, it didn't make much sense, also, No More Heroes was actually pretty good, I was surprised to see Capcom had not made it since it did feel like a Capcom-esque title.
Devil May Cry 5
It's going to happen, given the amount of unanswered questions DMC2 and DMC4 have given, we are more than likely going to see a DMC5 with answers, although, I keep hoping that it is not the last in the series, I want it to go alongside Resident Evil for as long as that series lasts.
Mega Man X9 (360 style or 16 bit snes style doesnt matter I just want the game)
Eh? you want an old game? an Xbox Live/PSN release sounds plausible, Possibly an HD reiteration of it I guess, I doubt we will see a full blown version of it on discs in retail, maybe as part of a compilation on PS2 or something.
Haunting Ground 2
Once again, it was a fairly contained story, if it was a completely new story with the same concept as the original then I would enjoy it, I quite liked these one-shot titles such as Chaos Legion, it's just a shame that the PS3 and Xbox360 aren't getting that sort of attention.
Vieuwtiful Joe 3
I think this would be rather limited due to its format, they would have to expand on it more to make it an impressive title, maybe a free roaming world or something, I'd still buy it, since Dante always appears in them, and he is awesome in them.
PN04 (PN03 sequel)
Wuh? Need we keep making non-sensical titles due to adding one to the number on the end? doesn't make sense... PN03 wasn't a bad game, just a little...broken, If they made it more combat based and improved the dodging system then a sequel would be a gem to play.
God Hand 360 style
I agree that this would make a good Xbox360 title, but more of a sequel rather than the first one re-release/re-made, It provided a great deal of inspiration for DMC4, Im curious as to what other material they can come up with for it, or if it was merely a precursor for DMC4.
other opinions please from this forum?
Good ideas, but I doubt that this will go any further than just ideas, which is a shame, I wouldn't mind seeing more titles like Haunting Ground, Clock Tower and Chaos Legion, all the current consoles seem to get are sequels to the larger series with a few new series put in.
well.. I think the New dino crisis is too bad ..:(
I didn't like it ..
that's also in the killer 7 ..:fear:
I missed the old dino crisis..:(
this is what i thinking about these games ..
and what about the DMC & RE ..
they are the best games I ever seen's ..
& the new seasons ..let me never miss the old's series;)
Killer 9 (more sick please than Killer 7 and 8 ever was because if you want a revolutionary game this is it!, and not the No More Heroes Edit Spike Language)Does Killer 8 exists?? On which platform? When it came out?

I WANT: VIEWTIFUL JOE. :D
And a Devil May Cry on Nintendo console, just to put Dante in the next Super Smash Bros. game. He'll be perfect.

Nah, PN03 had more emphasis on dodging, if they made it bearable to actually kill something without shooting at it in a weak and slow manner then it would be an interesting game, if they added a variety of guns and suits with different styles it would be an excellent game, I doubt it would be anything like DMC though.
And I don't think Dante is SSB material, but neither was Solid Snake and he worked out ok, but I reckon that Dante would be awesome in Soul Calibur as a guest or another [Something] Vs. Capcom game.

no killer 8 was an extention from Killer 7 where you could play as the very powerfull and young Harman Smith

Can you provide some evidence for this? I've never heard of this!
It's not that I don't believe you - because I want to. If there's another Killer 7 game - I'll be all over it..
EDIT: Found it. (http://boards.ign.com/killer_7/b6773/125857456/p1/)

It seems that Dante is made thinking of Super Smash Bros., and Capcom suggested the Final Smash to Nintendo.
Final Smash: Devil Trigger, with fly capability like DMC2 and Alastor DT.
A: Rebellion attack, identical with rapid combo at the end, until you press A.
A + UP: classic Swordmaster style action(I don't remember the name right now)
A + DOWN: Fireworks, little area on left and right.
A + RIGHT/LEFT: Beuwulf/Ifrit/Gilgamesh kick(that can be charged)
Mid Air:
A: Aerial Rave
A + DOWN: Rainstorm
A + LEFT/RIGHT/UP: other sword attack.
Run attack: Stinger
B: Twosome Time
B + Up: High Time
B + DOWN: kick, the one that Capcom stole from Ganondorf and Captain Falcon in Devil May Cry 4. :D
TAUNTS: I need to add something? :D OK then: 3 taunts are too few.
Dante seems to be built up with Super Smash in mind.

If Link can work in Super Smash Bros. then Dante most certainly can. However, he'd be far more suitable for a game like Soul Calibur, especially seeing as he was heavily rumoured to appear in Soul Calibur II/III. It's not rocket science to see the compatibility there.
Hopefully we'll see some more Dante cameos in the future. I would like to see more of him in RPGs to be honest, as his minor role in Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call was decent.
It's silly how people make out as if the producers does all the work. All the games mentioned are products by Capcom, not by single individuals within the studio; publisher or not, in reality everyone in the team influences the project a lot, and it really is a case of good teamwork. -So make sure you think and give credit where it's deserved.
