I'm not feelin' them. Doesn't look as nice or as sturdy as the TE1/2/S models. I'm slowly considering trying a Korean Qanba though, partly because of it's already multi-format-ness.

I just googled the korean qanba. Looks ok.
Is that any good then??
My SSFIV TE stick already works on my pc and my xbox so I'm happy anyway. Although you can never have enough joysticks! lol

oh god....another one?!? My girlfriends going to kill me lol, i guess i can replace my old soul calibur stick now though...
good looking.
anyway, as far as I know there are ways to make TE sticks compatible with both ps3 and 360.
just look over the web for ps360+ , it's a custom pcb that allows to use your TE stick with both consoles and pc.

v_v :D:D:D:D:D
Currently limited to North America and 1000 units.
My TE R2 will do me for now, when it dies I will probably get a Qanba or a Hori.
Nice :) but I prefer my loyal keyboard :D

I really would like to have one of the Street Fighter X Tekken joysticks. Because it would be the very first arcade stick that I will ever have and I really love the game already that I have played today at GAMEfest 2011. I would love to own one (PS3 version) if they are willing to release them in the UK.

I believe there will be a SFxT stick on general release later, but not exactly the same as the 1,000 units that were released in North America only (I think that there were hints that the red will be replaced by black).
I shall be purchasing one of those for the collection methinks!
£160 on the Gameshark site, the only UK retailer I have seen stocking these. I have also noticed that SFIV TE Round 2's are available from Amazon at the moment for ~£120, looks like the supply issues have abated.

They are, you can also get a kit to join two of the VS sticks together. Too bad that I already have a TE and have a Hori RAP EX on the way and that's all I need (different from all I want though :D).

I like the idea of linking two together for the aracde feel... I've got a SSFIV Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition S but I don't think it would link up with these new sticks though?
Loving the artwork on these!

Looking to get a Qanba myself. Just can't stomach the cost right now.

Yeah, I'm tempted by these as well but I am holding off until they have been around long enough to gauge the reliability.
The new SFxT sticks are up on the Gameshark store now but you can't purchase them yet, the prices quoted are £140 for the Pro sticks and £160 for the V.S. Sticks. My purchase for the Hori I mentioned earlier fell through so I might try to convince the wife to let me buy one of these.
I have noticed that Hori are doing a stick for Soul Calibur V as well as MadCatz, I wonder if it is possible they might do the same with SFxT?

Hori almost always do them for major games, even the minor ones like Arcana Heart.
I like their sticks (Hori). I also like the Madcatz SCV stick. I just can't justify the price at this moment given it's limited to one platform. Qanba is multi, including PC and generally has very favourable reviews. Microsoft need to stop being so anal about third party devices. £150 for a controller is no easy thing to stomach. The more consoles it works with, the better.

Don't all xbox controllers naturally work on pc via usb?
On the topic of sticks I'm not sure I can justify getting any more really as I already have a Hori Ex2, SSFIV TES, 2x Tatsunoko vs Capcom sticks, 2x Agetec Dreamcast sticks, an x-arcade tank stick, a Sega Satun virtua stick plus a few old amiga and zx spectrum sticks from back in the day. lol

You would think so, but I believe that there are some problems using certain Xbox 360 arcade sticks on rig's that have a non-intel motherboard.
I finally gave in to temptation and ordered one of the red ones at the weekend, which arrived yesterday. You would think by looking at it that it would be lighter than the Tournament Edition Fight Sticks but the difference is negligible, most of the weight seems to be coming from the metal panel at the bottom.
Your options for modding are restricted when compared to a TE but in my opinion that is grossly outweighed by the comfort. The smooth top panel with the slant and the slightly wider base makes this so much more comfortable to use than a TE with it's bezels/top panel edges and slightly shorter base.
If you weren't into modding stick artwork, then a black one of these would be a much smarter investment at £10 less than a regular TE*, although the Hori sticks are cheaper still and using similar parts.
Edit:
*£10 less than a regular TE from the GameShark store, I have recently discovered that Zavvi and The Hut are selling TE's for £99 at the moment.

Sorry, it was one of the SFxT sticks. It looks like I got one of the last red sticks in stock as they are no longer listed. :hop:
You can mod your TE Stick easily to support PC/PS3/Xbox360 using the Dual Strike PCB. As a base you need the Xbox360 version.
I modded mine and you don't have to solder. There are screws for wires on the PCB and you can clamp wires between the pins and the pin connector on TE sticks PCB.
No input lag, it's just perfect.

That piggyback cable isn't needed for the clamping method - you can choose if you want to connect via piggyback or screws.
