Hope that an answer from Mrs Capcom will do as well :D

At present we don't have information about a European release, I'm afraid.

How do you think that capcom has released in Europe and the U.S.?

Tidus stop begging lol, it will never be released outside, cause the WoW fans are millions more than MH fans outside asia, thats why capcom is afraid it wont sell well n to prevent this they wont release it.

Just play the japanese version then ^^ It costs like 15 euro / month, u can play it with a PS3 controller ( via Bluetooth ) and there r many players from america or europe who can speak english.

Is it not subscription locked? IE, is unable to run outside of Asia.

There are ways to solve this problem. Im not a pc pro but i heard abou proxy servers etc. You can play it online outside asia, just a way more complicated. Personally i never was online with it cus i cba to do all this complicated stuff ^^

I don´t get Capcom tbh. How can they estimate MH wont sell well outside asia ? Is their opinion based on MH1 (a game that was announced very slightly) ? I think Capcom is a money Edit Spike, we have fillter for a reason!. Frontier gets updates here and there cuz ppl pay for playing it. If MH3 came on Ps3, Capcom could release updates and this game could last for years but u dont have to pay for playing MH online in EU/USA, so they release a new game of the series and another and so on... and u "have" to pay for every single game. MH3 wouldn´t sell well in EU/USA if Capcom released MH3 on Ps3 with costs for playing online, so they bring it on Wii. I´m just sick of this.

The reasion Monsterhunter was changed to the Wii originaly was cost was much cheaper and sales of playstation 3's at the time were poor and is also expensive to make for.

Going on history in europe, Monster Hunter 1, Monster Hunter Freedom 1 and 2 have not sold well in compareson to Japan.

Their are more Wii's around than Ps3's.

As for paying for online in europe and US I don't think their are enough players to justyfy a charge TBH, if anything a charge to play would reduce the european market IMO. But in Japan you have always had to pay for MH online, Ps2 and PSP but never in europe so I don't see that changing just yet.

Capcom need to advertise the brand much more in europe which hopefully they will do this time.

Yes a company is obout making money which is even the aim of capcom so they can move on to the next project with the revinue they have pulled in with previous sales.

You can get DLC via the Wii if Capcom wish to do that and i think it is a possibilty.

The fact is their are more Wii's in Europe than Ps3 sales combined in USA and Europe so the wii has a bigger market.
It bussines sence

I would prefer a 360 version my self as I prefer XBL over Ps3 and Wii online but at the end of the day I am happy to get it on the Wii untill something for Ps3/360 is anounced.

Your sick of this? It's you that has chose your console not Capcom, the ps3 has more than enough to offer as it is. Sony don't own the rights to monster hunter so capcom can release it on what ever platform they wish.
So buy A Wii it's hardly breaking the bank and has lots of great games on the machine or is it to kiddie for you?

As i said in the other topic you will find many mature gamers who own a Wii.

The Wii is not just a childs console or a fat women like you said.

All you need to do is read internet forums and see this.

It is just a misconception people lable Nintendo with and though lots of kidds do own it so do lots of serious gamers.

The Wii has so much more to offer than a lot of people will beleive.

It is not wise to generalize any market. You stating that Wii consoles are only owned by children and bored housewives is no more valid than myself saying "the 360 is only owned by prepubescent and vociferous Americans, whose entire vocabulary consists of little more than homophobic sentiments."

No More Heroes has shipped roughly 400,000 units since launch and that certainly is not a game intended for children or housewives. Nor is Call Of Duty: World At War - which has also sold over 1,000,000 units worldwide.

Then we have the crucial titles that bridge gaps between the two separate gaming styles and appeal to all ages: Mario Galaxy 8.5million and Mario Kart Wii 15.5 million - which even by Halo 3 standards(9.5) is phenomenal.

Hold on a minute. Are you saying that all bored housewives are fat?, lol.

I think my wife would take offence at that remark.:Djk

I think what Redwings means is that , as u said, only the games developed by nintendo sell well on Wii, which are 99% games for any age, but hes only seein a jump and run and thinks this genre is for children, same as mario kart or any other game lol. But multi platform games like cod or whatever dont sell on Wii.

I own a Wii n imo i love to jump around as mario or shoot some koopa shells into enemies in mario kart ^^. I dont think its childish, its just fun and a nice change of the other mostly violent or serious games.

I agree SK games are about FUN and i find the the Wii extremely FUN to play.

We do know Monster Hunter will sell well in Japan on the Wii so this will be a very big 3rd party title their.

Lots of people from reading this forum and US forum will also buy MH on the Wii so all in all I think it will do well.
