Question in regards UMvC 3 ....

Dear Capcom,

If I buy UMvC3, will there be players online? Or will most people stick with MvC3 ? See I want to get the version that have most players online because that is where the emphasis is, that's where the fun is for me, but if I wait and see where most players are, and everyone does the same, noone will get UMvC3 simple from waitin and seein

Also, even if 70% of the people with MvC3 get UMvC3, the player base and online competition is gonna be reduced, and since that is where the core fun is, how can I not see the game as havin reduced value ?

Can you give advice on what do?

Hard to say at this time, if it sells well, then chances are, most people would've transferred over, if not, most will be on original MvsC3.

If you keep both titles, you'll obviously have the best of both worlds. But I sincerely doubt either game will lose a heavy amounts of players, there are some people who still play vanilla SFIV, unless they kill the servers, I doubt that will drastically change.

Most players will shift over. Unless MvC3 is THAT broken/bad there won't be much reason to stick with the normal one, except for experiment/combo videos etc, which quite frankly, most of us don't do. Ultimate would probably work in the same way as SSFIV AE in that it'll be easier to patc things in/out. Support for the normal version will probably drop entirely.

Ultimately it's up to you but we all know most will shift over. I don't know anyone that plays vanilla SFIV...
