Much prefer the Degeneration CGI move TBH.

I have seen all the Resi moves though some are not bad it just they do not see to be Resident Evil as they do not follow the true story.

Yeah agree with you Spike the CG version is much better to me due being the part of real story and not that Hollywood rip-off.But yeah its is interesting to watch it but not as an "real" Resident Evil movie

I just dont like the way various elements of the game are cut and pasted into the films.
Like the executioner just showing up in the last film, not reason or purpose why.
Or why the zombies have mutated into las plagas like creatures.

It just doesn't stay true to the source material or treat it with any respect at all.
Resident Evil is such an amazing series of games, its a damn shame we dont get treated to movies that are deserving of the RE name.

Also, yes I hate Alice.
At its core, RE is about normal people thrown into an abnormal world and forced to survive, not super human, impossible to beat hyped up heroes that you already know are not going to die.

Yeah thats what i mean they make stuff that doesn´t make any sense.Actulay those were Las Plagas type III (also known as Manji which means "Evil Spirit" in an african language),yeah it is entertaining to watch em but not as a part of the actual story.Even the director didn´t play any game himself so thats the reason why everything is wrong.Also Alice lost her powers thx to Wesker in Afterlife, so this should keep things at place first to be a horror movie and not something that was done with RE5.

I've only played RE5 but amazin, amazin, AMAZIN game, but the RE movies despite them bein 'canon' or not are also some of my favorite movies all time, can't imagine a movie without RE5 but can't ALSO not imagine a world without Milla Jovovich in finest role and most epic g-dmn movies Ever made.. and the movies pay tribute to games, some way which is lot more respect thn lot of movies based on games get, the new Tekken movie barely felt like the game at ALL, RE are some of the best movies made not only from games but all entertainment

A world without Either is a poorer world, to my heart..

I only wish there was an actress anywhere as good as Milla Jovovich but she has become mother and with that hotness goes a bit, women become more soft and less sure on feet, it's got something to do with pregnancy 'softening' tendons so babies can born, it's hormonal, anyway pregnancies changes women's bodies n minds not same, good thing but difficult to make consistent movies around it, said I'd rather see Milla Jovovich have a family thn another movie, but still noone can be what she was, Milla was not only great actress she was an actual SUPER-model not just MODEL but SUPER-model, such women are few n far between

They need more thn an actress for Alice they need the epitome of self-confidence and amazing

Nothin less than a SUPERMODEL can replace Alice, that is why Ali Larter can't keep up .. it is just impossible

I like the movies too but not the way as and "real" RE movie.The movies are interesting if you go the way seperate from the game series but yeah its a shame that they don´t follow the story as it should be.

Too be honest i have noticed something that in afterlife its a bit like Resi 5, & the rest is like Resident evil 2 & 3 mostly (except the hive).
But in my opinion there's a gap missing Resident evil 4 so this might actually tell us Leon will be in the next movie?

Personaly not a fan of Milla Jovovich though yes she played Alice well but Alice was needed in the first place.

As most people who have played through all the RE games proberbly would agree to that.

Been following RE since late 95 early 96 and I still do not understand where alice comes from as the films are OK but they are not true to the RE story.

Maybe a alternate RE reality, but for me they are not the True RE as the films seem to have thrown over 15 years of story and mixed and mached a pacthwork of none canon plots and slaped RE on box.

To make it a true RE they should have scrapped Alice as it would have made it more beleiveable and true to the games IMO.

A song from a Bradford West Yorkshire band and Chubby Brown springs to mind with Alcie TBH.

I am not knocking Milla Jovovich and her ackting though I personaly do not rate her, it's the concept of Alice which take the films away from the RE's true Origins.


The only true RE film out right now is Degeneration IMO.

it's not good to disagree but i honest RE movies are some of the best movies for me PERSONALLY, i think they're terrific i like the actin the stories etc but i have also never played before RE5 so maybe there is lot i need to see before i can truly judge how much they could have been.. but damn RE movies are some of my favorites, in fact right now i can't think of movie franchise i like better, except maybe Batman Begins or Van Helsing but those are single movies i like scratch i Love every movie in RE, they're so good STAND-ALONE .. i'm baffled and puzzled anyone could have except praise, for them ..

i love those movies and i guess that won't change i can't see any reason to not like them EXCEPT if bringin in more of games would fundamentally make them more entertainin, maybe they're not loyal but their fun as Hell.. and gotta say i do not think Milla Jovovich is the best-LOOKIN actress by far but she's got somethin and intensity and authenticity that lifts the whole thing up, she's fragile and somehow incredibly strong it makes sense ..

i can understand that fans of the game series might still be waitin for that TRUE RE movie but given how things've been the past i don't know if it ll ever come

why don't we, as fans try and make a script together ... then we can pitch it, but maybe not in public, but, somehow, i dunno work on it so it's surprise .! the TRUE RE movie

what would script be .. would it contain live action copies of game scenes or would it be new .. we have the alternate version what would the true RE movie be .. ??
