Hello all.
First i wish to thanks to CAPCOM for all entertainment during this 20 years.

I write this messagem for the protest against the movie "Legend Of Chun-Li" directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak.

When i saw this movies my heart broke, seeing all the characters following awry without any relationship with the characters of video games.

A Japonese VEGA? A irish blue eyes, silver hair with Armani suite? A "young" GEN?

This kind of movies come to ruin futures and strong movies about the real STREET FIGHTER.

It is amazing how bad this movie did. But you know, I never once saw a promo for the movie. I guess they knew it would fail but released it anyway. Probably a good case where an unnecessary nude scene by the lead actress would have brought in a lot of more money.

Resuming i beg to CAPCOM to do not aprove any more releases like this in the future for the sake of the Street Fighter spirit.

In this time there are technoloy enough to produce a hig quality film, not like the garbage released.

Even Street Fighter (1994) was much better and more faithful to video games where at least character dress almost equal and their stile of fight was also like video game.

In future, think in GENERATIONS like us who follow the arcades, spent money for fun and now we wish something NOT LIKE THIS.

Is that out in the UK as I wouldn't mind giving it a go at the cinema this weekend. It's problably worth the ticket just to check out "Lana". :P

I actualy liked the Street Fighter movie but then again it has Kylie in it and Van Damme working his kung fu action!!

I tend to get UHT milk now more so it doesn't surprise me anymore when I'm making breakfast cereal. :D

you're right, movies based on videogames are not so good
actually i liked Resident Evil movie (or maybe i liked the actress most LOL), but in general for the videogame fans, that kind of movies will never be good
i'll wait to see the movie in Italy (i don't even know when they're going to give it at the cinema)

I don't care what others think, i will go and watch it. SF movie either crap or good is a SF movie. Those not hang around to often. It's a bit like Transformes fanboys crying cos' Transformers move is not faithful to animated series. Like i care, still a fun movie to watch.

I liked Doom (again despite not being faithful to the games), same Director. Just sign me in for SF movie. I want to be an extra :)

Yeah but the difference is that Transformers was actually good (Sorry had to say that :p)

Still been meaning to see this film, I'll get round to it sometime but I'm not expecting much. The animes were always much greater than the films.

Its a really bad movie! and i mean bad! Sentence censored out because of bad language. Why a movie about CHUN-LI!!!!??? yes she is hot but thats it!!! i dont want to know anything else!
How about a movie with:-

1st:- RYU
2nd:- KEN
3rd:- AKUMA
4th:- GOUKEN

and maybe a side story on SAGAT getting a beat down from RYU.
at least you have a base for a -language, please!- hot story line and the effects between these 4 would be jaw dropping!
alas capcom are like any business in it for the money, if i offered them 5 million and said can i make a movie with the street fighter license they would snap my hand off regardless of how bad the movie was going to be.
there is no loyalty to the fans and they would disagree but only on the basis that if they admitted it, it would hurt there wallet but to be fair they are like every other game company.
away from this post wouldnt it be great if every developer did what VW did and made a game so good that didnt make any money but was just to show off there talent as a developer......aint going to happen, a greedy world we live in, yet its us gamers that suffer.

Can't let that slip arrows, sorry.

Even though this is the internet, we have to think about all the people who are able to visit, read and click those links, and I think it's inappropriate for people under a certain age.

If you want to share it with certain people, use PM's or live messenger, but no such things on the forum, please.

Actually I had fun from the Street Fighter movie since playing the respective game was kind of ridiculous enough to enjoy it.

I however believe that a real movie Sagat will not ever match the big fat muscle mountains of the various Anime Sagatos - Neither could a movie do much more than go into Cell Shading to match that, or well, using Computer Animated Bodies (that would be kind of something crazy new=). But after all the movie couldn't replace the game or even might cause people to admire the greatness of Capcoms head to fall down on their knees and... well :spy:.

Dragonball yet could have only profitted from such an impact, well, compensating the quality of its Games though (Ö=).

Well, I didn't see the movie, but seeing the trailer made me wonder wether there actually is a woman on earth that would match the uniqueness of Chun Li, in my oppinion the Actress couldn't reach her. Michelle Yeoh would be the best Chinese Woman I know therefore but wouldn't match by far n... well, hmmm... .

Just think that I had to watch it. All of it. From the beginning to the end.
