The lottery tells jackpot winners by e-mail. Lottery winner Graham Forrest found out he had won £2.7m when he opened an e-mail sent to him at work. When the message from the National Lottery said it had some "exciting news" for him, Mr Forrest from Cumbria thought he had won £10. He rang his wife but at first she refused to believe him.
wow, I received one of those e-mails and I thought it was spam... Wait, actually I don't play the lottery :D

I'd say all of those are beliveable...so a bit of a pointless article to be honest.
And they probaby got his e-mail via the online lottery play thing.
yea theres like an advert where some woman like checks her e-mail and then runs into a board room meeting and is all crazy cause she won the lottery
though the advert is a bit old so its proberbly not on telly anymore
