I wonder why no one else has leaped on this yet...
I already posted this list in the German Forums. It´s a really nice roster, especially for me, cause I love Jun Kazama and I´m so happy that she´s back in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Street Fighter X Tekken.
And Kite - I sooo agree with you. I hate Character DLC! On the one hand, I like it to get more characters, that´s simple, but I don´t want to pay for already (on the disk) existing characters or earlier planned characters that they keep to make more money later!
DLC doesn´t mean anymore " Down Load Content" - the new meaning is "Disk Locked Content". :(

the Capcom side needs more varied fighting styles. Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Dan and Sakura are all similar. i'd rather see Juri (gonna team her with my Hwoarang, oh yea), Makoto, Cody or Guy.
on the Tekken side i wanna see Lili, Steve and Raven. and Asuka over Jun (she's better tbh).
How come and no one posted here for a month? Do SF fans hate Tekken that much?
Glad that people agree with me in this DLC BS that has become a trend nowdays. I never saw gamers happier after hearing that they are ripped off. Whenever a new game is coming out everybody's question is "will there be any DLC" and the producers are like "Err... We never really thought about it, but if you insist we can arrange to lock some content to re-sell it later.".

In light of the demo we saw at Captivate yesterday a lot of the information is looking outdated or just wrong, King who apparently had no model is fully playable for example and Ken is clearly SFIV Ken and not the Alpha one as previously mentioned. Theres likely been a tonne of prototypes since this leaked so what we end up with could be completely different to what was originally in this post which honestly, is kind of exciting. Havent seen a game in flux like this for a long time, hope to see some further suprises soon!
I agree with ShinKagato, that image is clearly fake, wheres Marduk on the character list? because he was playable at capcom captivate.
The list is more speculation at this stage than anything else.
Even if it was accurate down to the letter, it'd only be accurate at the time, some characters get scrapped, re-purposed, and a model may just mean the character is a background cameo.
Its reasonable to assume that the most popular will make it, followed by the developers favourites, and whatever is in demand will more than likely make DLC.

small forum, theres only like 3 of us on here who actually play fighting games non casually.
i've seen quite a few peeps tweeting @ Ono san saying they would like Hugo in, god i would love that, honestly though i would be suprised if we saw any new characters from capcoms side otherwise people would be like why cant this guy be added to sf4 and as capcom have stated they hope to be done with sf4 after ae's release.

I don´t really hate Tekken but I prefer a few other games than Tekken to be crossed with a Street Fighter Games.
And while I´m writing this, I guess that a
STREET FIGHTER X DARKSTALKERS would make a lot of sense because everytime you want to reboot or awake a "sleeping brand" you have to make it likeable for newbies and for faithfull fans.
If you noticed the petition for Darkstalkers, Yoshinori Ono clearly said, that they need about 500.000 sings to start working on that title. They never asked the fans to make a crossover with the Tekken series.
How ever, I´ll keep on reading on all the new stuff about that game and maybe there´s gonna be a personal hype soon. =)

I enjoy all fighting games (well except Virtua Fighter, just dont get that game at all) and Tekken is a fantastic and fun game. Do i like it better than Streetfighter? Heck no but that said, i do enjoy the crazy storylines and drama associated with the series.
Wow, I'm getting much more excited after this ...
I like the lookings of the Tekken Characters in the SF look, and I really like both series.
And I'm very happy to hear Zafina is being made.
Hope she makes it into the game, she's my fav. Tekken character, ven if she's new.
And another thing:
I'm afraid the second outfits will just be in Namcos Version, for the Capcom game we will have to buy them as DLC, I bet!
Hope all charcters and outfits wil be in the game this time and there won't be a "Super Street Fighter X tekken". But I think/hope namco will avoid the DLC things,, becuase they aren't using them in their Tekken game.

I'm looking forward to this.
I used to be a Tekken fan (like, 10 years ago), and I like a lot of the characters. But after playing Street Fighter and really getting into Capcom's style of fighter, I really can't enjoy Tekken games any more - I even bought T6 recently and it just feels like a button-masher and I can't seem to find any real sort of technique that's both fun and useful.
So the idea of playing as Jin, Heihachi, Kazuya, Yoshimitsu, King etc all in Capcom style really, really appeals to me.
Can't wait.

That was my hope too. i was also hoping for baek but i doubt he'll appear. i'm glad cammy is in as she is my SSFIV main. i like the sound of that line up but a cant see them putting in third strike characters as that would mean re modeling them. i hope karin doesn't appear as i hate her with a passion. i would expect that everything down to cammy is correct or atleast logical! fingers crossed for sakura!

I read Seth Killian said on eventhubs that these things make it difficult for Capcom, I don't see how but take his word for it, uh I advice people not to read these things but respect Capcom's wishes for publishin when they feel it's time ...

Im actually hoping this is the list as it contains many of my fav fighters and would create quite a nicely rounded roster. A lot of it makes sense too, even if its not exact, if its close then it could be my fav fighter of the year.

personally I don't know very well this website, so I can't assure if it's reliable but it refers to Shoryuken.com as his source and Shoryuken.com usually it ends up to be trusty.
as I said, it's a rumor, so take it easy.
the chars you have underlined in black are the ones of the roster that makes you perplex?
I think that Heihachi will almost obviously make his way since it's one the most important characters (like Lars for the T6 storyline).
What about Rolento? It's possible to see him too because they're introducing lots of people from Final Fight (Cody and Guy, Poison and Hugo).
That's why I found this roster to be believable.
