So, fighting games have been making a comeback :D
I personally am really happy about this and well, I'm just wondering, what fighting game awaiting to be released or will be released soon, or even some rumours or sniffs of new fighting games coming.....which are YOU most excited about?

Personally for me its SFxTK and MvC3

I would LOVE to see a new Capcom vs SNK crossover, or even make CvSNK 2 available for download to us!
(I made a thread regarding a new c v snk crossover and basically people said they went bankrupt :S i dont know much on the sunject but yeah)

Anyway, I've gone on long enough now, what are YOU most excited about and even leave any ideas you can come up with for a new fighting game/ crossover!

MK 9, i absolutely loved mk 1 and 2 as a kid and then it just got awful, finally after al these years (even if you wont hear ed boon say it) it seems they have got there act together and done exactly what they needed to make mk good again; completely rip off sf4! 2d fightin plane, 3d models and background, juggles instead of links/targets, lots of blood, no stupid friendships or other guff, bobs your uncle you's got a brilliant game :D

I'm quite excited for a few things really. This has definitely been a high point for fighters of this generation.

My biggest one is MvC3 - so naturally now I've got that it's what I'm playing at the moment.

Still, I'm very much looking forward to SFxT - not a huge fan of Tekken (for it's engine), but I'm looking forward to the tag system, and some of the Tekken characters are pretty cool and I'm looking forward to seeing them in an SF style engine (Heihachi, Jin, Kazuya, Xiaoyu, Yoshimitsu, King), though I'm not sure about seeing Paul/Guile or Law/Fei Long in the same game!

Looking foward to Mortal Kombat, it's nice to see they're going back to 2D as I never liked the 3D stuff, and the addition of tag and super moves sounds appealing. I've never found Mortal Kombat to be quite as good as Street Fighter though, but I'll definitely be picking up a copy.

I loved King of Fighters XII's visuals, but found the gameplay to be lacking in moves - while I grew up learning of characters like Terry and Kyo via Capcom vs SNK 2, I find SNK's own versions to feel as though they are missing half of their attacks. XII also had a severe lack of stages and stuff, too. I've heard that KOF XIII is essentially going to be XII with lots of stuff added in, so I could be tempted if it looks like a big improvement. I've recently downloaded KOF '98 and find it to be far better than XII in terms of gameplay, so it'd be amazing to see something of that quality in the stunning visuals of XII. So I'll wait for more info before deciding on XIII - though I do support the continued use of 2D graphics.

An online release of Capcom vs SNK 2 would be perfect really, it'd be nice to see it overhauled to HD - although not overly so. I wouldn't want it to feel like a different game, just touched up so it's cleaner. I kinda feel like they haven't released this already as SNK probably realise that Capcom did a better job of their own characters than they do!

I gotta say either sf cross tekken or tekken tag 2. I'm also intrigued by how namco will bring the sf guys into the 3d realm in tekken cross sf. Could either be good or god awful if kof maximum impact is anything to go by.

From the games that havent yet been released i have to say i have a stupidly high excitement level for Super Street Fighter IV 3d! Im also keen to play Mortal Kombat 9, that game has varied so much in quality over the years it will be good to play a proper 2d one again. Id also like to play the newest KOF title, since they upgraded to the Atomisware platform i havent been able to preview the titles on NeoRageX so its always a suprise to get ahold of the latest one.
