there seems to be a large amount of advertising posts popping up on the forums. the posts seem to alternate between selling web space, medication and porn. have we been hacked? they seem to be largely concentrated in the general section however i have run across one in the resident evil section too.
Thanks for the heads up. We've not been hacked, it's just a wave of ad bots, which unfortunately gets through every now and then.
However, they've been taken care of now.

If you see any Please use the REPORT tab. It sends a email to all Mods & Admin Don't be scared to use it.
many of us have phone with email access so if we are close to a computer we can get it sorted quicker.
If you see any, DON'T reply to them, even if you think that reasoning or insulting them is going to make them stop, it'll register interest and they may take their "attack" up a peg or too.
Just report the offending post, post in other topics so it goes off the main page, you don't have to be a moderator to keep the boards clean. :)
