For the love of god Capcom, if you make another Street Fighter game, please oh please dont make Seth the boss, M Bison was possibly the best boss i have ever had to fight in any game and it just seems now you dont care about the final fight. Seth is, like Juri says, just a change of clothes in Bisons wardrobe, surly it would be better to make M Bison the main boss again, rather than have him just become another supporting character. My main concern is that Seth is a cheat who has to resort to using multi hit attacks taken from other characters because he does not have skill of his own, where as when you had to face Bison after beating Balrog, Vega and Sagat in Street Fighter 2 and later additions, it felt as if he actually had a high level of skill and when you finally beat him it was so much more gratifiying knowing that you had just fought the best and won. I dont mean to tell you how to do your jobs, you are quite possibly one of my favorite game developer ever. But for me Seth is the fly in an otherwise beautiful and lovingly crafted bowl of soup.

Seth, fka fifteen, has it role in Bisons big chess game, which we know as Street Fighter.
Deal with it.

I'm no fan of seth either. he's uninteresting ans a character. however he is a stepping stone in explaining how bison appeared to have come back from the dead. i wouldnt worry too much. By SF 5 if bison isnt the boss again i doubt it will still be seth.

No fan of Seth either but yeah, he is a big part of SF IV so its a bit pointless to dwell on his inclusion now, when the IV series is probably ending with A.E.
As for SF V i say leave Seth out of the game entirely but that is probably an easy bet cause no one really likes him. I also agree with Bison becoming the final boss again + i would love to see 2-3 bosses before him in a fixed order just like with SF 2. They don't need to be Boxer, Claw and Sagat, some new faces which might be equally original would be cool

Really? Really? REALLY?

I for one, LOVE playing Seth.
There's so much tricks up his (non-existant) sleeve that you can't do with other characters.

To me, there's something magical about hitting the opponent in the air with a crouching HP, catching them with a Hundred-leg-attack (Or however you spell the Chinese name ;) ) then continuing to stomp on them in the air. :o

And balanced out with the fact that he has almost no Health, and deals normal damage.
Although in AE he's supposedly has normal health and stun.

Is this really still such massive dislike because he's labbeled as a hard boss?
I'm betting that most people who spend the time to post here know how to beat CPU Seth without too much trouble, so once you get past that stepping stone, he shouldn't be THAT unlikeable, no?

All in all,
I love Seth, from his original spins on the moves of classic characters to his personality from the Udon SFIV Comics.

The thing about Seth is, he was made to be difficult and annoying, and that really is a staple for Street Fighter bosses...

When I started SFIV for the first time, I got obliterated by him nearly every time, several months of playing with other people of various skill levels has raised my experience somewhat, and now I can usually beat him with a little effort.

My only complaint about Seth was his design being so incredibly bland, the archetypical bald muscle man we've all seen before, Cycloid beta much?

Things why I don't like Seth.

- is a combination of different characters (moves)
- looks stupid
- Ultra 1 takes ages, such an annoying slow down
- I don't like the whole Übermensch idea
- reminds me at "Dural" from Virtua Fighter, don't like that one too
