Watch the trailer here (http://www.capcom-europe.com/blog/2010/11/motogp-1011/)
Today Capcom announced that MotoGP 10/11 is in development for the Playstation3 and Xbox 360! The latest title in the series is being developed by Monumental Games and is scheduled for release in March 2011. MotoGP 10/11 will deliver all the content from the 2010 MotoGP season and offer downloadable updates for the 2011 MotoGP championship shortly after the season starts!
I can assure you I will not be buying this until the demo comes out. After 09/10's debacle. imo
Great news, I just read the same story on Videogamer.com (http://www.videogamer.com/news/more_motogp_in_march.html) about the release of MotoGP '10/'11 in March 2011 (although they mix you up with Milestone :D).
"Capcom has announced that MotoGP 10/11 is in development for PS3 and Xbox 360 and will be released in March 2011.
The latest title in the series is being developed by Monumental Games and will feature all the content from the 2010 MotoGP season and offer downloadable updates for the 2011 MotoGP championship shortly after the season starts.
We're promised an all new handling system and improved physics, which combine to deliver a level of "authenticity never seen before in the MotoGP series".
Capcom is once again hoping to attract both the hardcore simulation fan and the casual racer, with next year's game featuring customisable player assists to alter the racing style.
"MotoGP 10/11 will offer gamers the most true to life gameplay of the series so far," commented Michael Pattison, senior vice president marketing. "We hope that fans will be pleased with the improvements made to next year's title, allowing gamers to adapt their playing experience to suit their individual racing style."
The new game will also feature new co-op play though local splitscreen, with a second player taking on the role of a team mate. In addition, all racers will be selectable from the off."
Here's hoping we get news of the final DLC very soon and that MotoGP '10/'11 physics are more akin to the 2010 MotoGP class update.
Cheers.

09/10 was cockup, no one denies that - but look how monumental responded - they much improved the handling of the bikes with the 2010 update, a real sign that at least they've been listening.
I for one will have it on pre-order, from what I've read so far, all of my major gripes from last year have been addressed.
Any chance we could see a screen shot of the HUD?
The only thing I need to here now is that we will have access to settings etc whilst in lobbies?

So.... We are going to buy another MotoGP 09/10 withouth the 09 part, but with new handling and some other new things and then we have to download 2011 parts as DLC's?...
No thank you
Can't there just be made a MotoGP '11 instead of 10/11. I mean we already got 2010 MotoGP class in 09/10 where is the Moto2 and 125cc? Just make a MotoGP 11 instead of 2010 with adding 2011 things in the time that the season runs. Just update MotoGP 11 then the stuff that happens in real life (different liveries at those races etc.)
Yeah, but why does the graphics still look like we're racing at 17:30 in the afternoon? Nice bike sounds though, if thats what they really sound like.
Where is PC version, again...

Found a screen shot of the HUD
http://www.xboxliveaddicts.co.uk/forums/index.php?//topic/49831-1011-first-look/
Scroll down the page - great to see a more refined looking HUD with a tachometer, but what are the little bars below the tissot logo?

I think I've just answered my own question - Is it just a clean section indicator!?
I also read over on XBLA that Steve has been made redundant - hope that doesn't now mean we'll never get any responses to our questions?
Cheers Steve for your endeavors!

i found something on that shot; there is a best lap but he hasn't completed one yet, hopefully that means best lap is from your entire career and not just that race; and also the map has smaller circles for people meaning it's easier to tell how many people are in a group. For example, i was in a race last night with what looked like one circle behind me, i looked and there were 3 :thumb:

Hopefully you'll still get answers to your questions. In the meantime I would just like to say that it's been a pleasure working with you guys to make MotoGP 10/11 something we can all be proud of. Your comments, suggestions and visits to the studio have made a huge difference to this version of the game.

is there a bike damage too, if you crash? and can the weather conditons change while racing?
it would be soooo great if there would be bike damages or wet races because if you crash you are too quick racing again.
is the game more difficult? the 09/10 version is too easy.
i see no point of buying '10 AGAIN. i already have one,.in the new game i don't wanna see rossi on yamaha and stoner on ducati.:whack:
just pointless imho,..i will be just waiting for something new like '11/'12.
so i''ll probably skip this one sins gt5 is coming out and í will still be playing that in march for sure
can't we just download the '11 dlc part for '09/'10 when season starts:chin:
because last game wasn't worth my 60 euro's,...although i really had fun with the '10 part.
i'm really hate dorna btw because we couldn't watch motogp normal on TV overhere.
maybe i'll just boycott everything that cost money and is related to motogp.
for the first time in eleven years I'm thinking of not going to Assen as well.
cause dorna only sees dollars,.well not mine anymore
and paying twice for the same game:confused:, i don't think so!!!:whack:
boycott Dorna!!!
Hmm, think i'll give this version a miss as well. Its just motogp 09/10, but point 5. Not much has changed. the graphics are still dirty and gloomy, still no damage modelling, savable replays, functional pits, dynamic weather system, telemetry. on top of that, there's no ai retirements, livery editors and no online ranking systems. Its pretty much got nothing.Im sick of developers just tweaking a few things here n there, slapping on a 2 or just updating the year on a game and passing it off as a sequel. Polyphony digital/sony or even codemasters should have had the rights to this game. Dman 74 over n out.

I must say, Codemasters have their own host of problems with F1!
On the other hand, I do agree with the past couple posts. This is starting to seem a bit like EA's Madden series over here.
Tweak a couple things so the community reps have something to tout on the forums, sell as many copies...as fast as they can.
That, my fellows, is why I buy that every two years! :D
PS. Did everyone just raise the white flag on the Moto2 DLC? Because...ya know...we did all pay for it technically.

it has been sort of confirmed for this month, hopefully it will come this month (famous last words)

Greatly appreciate the reply.
What about Steve, did he get moved elsewhere or something? I saw mention of something along those lines in a earlier post, yet havn't seen anything else about it.

He got made redundant as a result of Monumental unexpectedly losing a contract for an unannounced project?
I just hope it wasn't the MotoGP license or else its back to square one for 2012 just as Monumental were starting to find their feet.
the new update is ok. the handling of the moto2 bikes is great! but the races and the qualifings are too easy. i was more than 10seconds faster than the 2nd rider. that is very boring! please fix it for motogp 10/11! AND WHY ARE IN THE MOTO 2 RACES ONLY 20 RIDERS?!?!?! :flamesangry:
the 125cc class is ok.
BUT PLEASE MAKE THE NEXT MOTOGP GAME MORE DIFFICULT!!!!
Oh yeah? Go ahead and try to contunue your current career as Moto 2 rider and you will find it's not ok!
Dear monumental,
when is the release date of the demo for the new version?
And can the riders keep their legs out while braking like rossi or stoner do this?
Monumental and Capcom should be promoting MotoGP '10'/'11 far more than what they are. The IGN UK hands-on article (http://au.xbox360.ign.com/articles/113/1133321p1.html) from November 2010 is still the ONLY hands-on report by a major website! I've been informed that IGN were the only website invited to test the game at the time.
A few questions for Capcom and Monumental:
Why are new '10/'11 screenshots posted elsewhere on the internet and not here?
News of a playable demo? Can we expect a demo?
Where are video podcasts and Q&A sessions that Steve Best provided for the community for the last game?
Why hasn't the playmotogp website been updated to reflect the new game?
Where are the reps from Capcom and/or Monumental?
Why hasn't the Twitter accounts of Monumental and "MotoGP Developer" not sent a tweet since November 10th?
If you are expecting to release the game sometime in March, you'd all better start marketing your game with more verve!! You'll be releasing MotoGP against MUCH higher profile titles & good luck getting major webiste and magazine coverage against these games during March:
Dragon Age 2
Crysis 2
Major League Baseball 2K11
Shift 2
Duke Nukem Forever
Pokemon Black and White Editions
Cheers.
