So set the scene in your mind:
Capcom announce a Resident Evil game that's exclusive for the PC and is based around Online play spanning across many scenarios, much like what Outbreak used to be.
Now, I know that this may never happen, but this is just a fun idea for a discussion to see what RE fans would truely think!
DISCUSSION:
What do you think would be positive and negative aspects?
Personally, what would you like to see implemented?
POSITIVES:
- Traditional Resi Evil style gameplay, sweetened up with you and some buddies, or complete strangers you've never met.
- Much more flexible conversation system, with the use of either Keyboard communication, or in-game voice chat.
- A refreshing breath on Resi Evil storyline, with non-canon plots that are easy to dive in and out of.
NEGATIVES:
- Original gameplay style may not appeal to those who enjoy the modernized style of play. (RE4, RE5.)
- Limited scenario choices may get boring after time.
WANTS:
- On the fly inventory management which doesn't pause the game, much like the system found in RE5.
- Special costumes and items which you can buy using money collected from previous scenario runs.
What do you guys think?
