MVC 3 : Theme songs and wallpapers for all!

Hey guys and girls,

Just letting you know that the Official MVC3 page has updated the character pages with the theme songs of all the characters playing, plus the original trailer footage of each character.

Also, by presing the "download" button beneath the character's name, you can download them to spruce up your PC's background, which is probably lacking this Marvel VS Capcom 3 love!

I still ove that remix of The Sun Rises that's being used for Amterasu. Still, Felica's ounds great too.

Hey Capcom, if possible could we get a soundtrack album released?

I'll quickly go through some:

Capcom:

Ryu - Disappointed, I guess. I LOVE his MvC theme just because it was the SFII opening and a good arrangement of it, too. To be fair I find remixes of Ryu's theme to be pretty hit or miss. And even when I do think they are hits, they get dry pretty quick. His SFII variations still hold up to this day, with Alpha 2 being one of the best versions of it. Even his many SFIV arrangements I can't always listen to and they're quite awesome.

Arthur - Good stuff! Great to hear that theme again.

Chun-Li - Kinda weird but it works, haha!

Dante - Not bad but should've just ripped the Loop Demo track from DMC3 and used that.

Spencer - I quite liked it. Slight westerny touch to it.


Marvel:

Captain America - I like it but it's just not him, personally. Far too trancey for good ol' Cap. It is a catchy theme as always and this version is decent in my opinion but I find it a little trancey.

Deadpool - Not my type of music but eh.

Hulk - I liked it. Faster pace than what he used to have. Kinda heavy but eh, it'll do.

MODOK - Anyone else think it's Ghostbusters? It really is!

Spider-Man - LOVE it! A little too err...Hawaiin or something but otherwise it's so cool! It's a lot more lighter and happier sounding than his older versions.

Super-Skrull - Pretty great for the most part. The electro stuff can be a bit much though. Electro stuff kinda kills a lot of otherwise great tunes for me at times. Balrog's SFIV tune suffers slightly from it, too.

Thor - I quite liked it on my first listen. Pretty different from the rest.

Wolverine - The impact of his MvC tune is greater, I feel. This one feels too samey to the rest of MvC3 which turn is too samey to SFIV, which got dry kinda quick!

X-23 - Er...what the...I don't even...please go.

Might seem like I am harsh but as far tunes we've already heard go, for most people the biggest impact were with the original tunes or remixes a little after. I felt the same way with the Alpha character arrangements in SSFIV. Gen and Adon's theme just don't have the same impact as they did from Alpha 2.

I look forward to checking out the full OST upon release. No doubt there will be one. Some of the tunes will more than likely grow on me.

Devils Never Cry is one of my favourite game tracks, so I'm very happy a remix made its way in to MVC3 as Dante's theme. I hope for a game soundtrack to be released with full 3+ minute versions of everyone's themes. MEK IT 'APPEN. <3

And of course, Trish's theme brings back good memories. Another solid remix.

Good lord, Capcom, you deliver the goods here but not where it counts. Truly brings a tear to my eye.
