4gb ram
amd athlon 64 dual core 5200+ (2,7ghz)
2 nvidia g-force 9500gt
direct x9
has someone an idea why this game crash?
Well, I'm also experiencing problems in starting the game. It is the same error as I was getting in Resident Evil 5.
In that case administrator here tried to ensure me that my RadeonX1950 Pro is not powerfull enough to run RE5, BUT, after installing the patch by Boris Vorontsov I played RE5 without any problems at all, so it was just capcom issue, for some reasons they simply didn't include support for x1650-1950 series....
And now it seems we have the same problem, it's becoming a tradition, ha?
I'd like to hear, will capcom make the patch to fix that problem or leave it to freelancers????
thanks for the answer
I also had problems with the game. It would not run from Steam. I solved this by installing "Games for Windows" manualy. After a restart the game ran fine.
Hope that helps :D

Recent Capcom's PC games are created with latest Nvidia technology. Officially, Nvidia technology does not support ATi technology and vice versa, so this is mainly the problem with unsupported ATi Radeon graphic cards.
To solve the problem, try to update your graphic card driver and DirectX. If you have "GFWL" (Games for Windows Live) app installed on your machine, reinstall it to slove the problem (Lost Planet 2 will automatically install this application in the installation process).
You can also install it manually. "GFWL" installer setup is located inside your DVD or inside Steam folder (for example: Steam\steamapps\common\lost planet 2\gfwlivesetup.exe).
