Does anyone know when or roughly when about the 2nd dlc featuring 125s and moto2 come out?

dude, we haven't even had the patch for the 1st DLC yet, you've got no chance of moto2 or 125 for a good few months yet, i'm guessing we'll have to wait til after the Aragon (sp?) race. Please Monumental, prove me wrong:D
I do have a question about moto2, well more of a request, will moto2 have its own leaderboard? Please don't merge it with 250. It's a completely differant and seperate class, and SHOULD have its own leaderboard.

Roughly 8 weeks now until the season ends - are we likely to see the second DLC before then?

I'm sure a lot of people will disagree with me but I for one would much rather you just forgot about it and focused your efforts solely on next years release.

I agree. Ths game is so full of holes there is no point putting any more effort into it.

I really never wanted to say this but I think deep down id much rather this too, as I dont think I personally will play this version anymore. I enjoyed it while it lasted and a great effort for thhe first game.

They may want to finish the DLC off so Im happy with either, I could never turn down a freebie, especially these days when most companies and most of all Microsoft trying to squeeze us for every penny we own. Im moving back to the PS3 at xmas. This dam 360 is just getting way to expensive. I mean I only want to play dam games, Not all this facebook/twitter rubbish. But back to the PS here I come. :thumb:

The only DLC I hope we see in next years release is one off liveries or some kind of legends pack or tracks of by gone days - That's the kind of DLC I'd quite happily shell out for.

well the first piece of DLC came out with a new track, and there is another new track on the calendar in two weekends time, so logic points towards the next 2/3 weeks before the next one comes out.

Hi

DLC2 and DLC3 will be out before the end of the year although I don't have a definitive date for either of them yet. The patch will be bundled with DLC2.

As soon as I have more information, I'll let you know.

Can you tell us what DLC 2 and 3 will be - I mean, we obviously already know that we're getting updated 125's and Moto2, but are these coming as 2 separate DLC's are is there something extra in the pipeline? :)

Would love to tell you what the content will be, but that's one for Capcom to share a little nearer the release date. :shhh:

I just realised after installing the new update that we now have access to the marketplace menu - Am I right in thinking that we actually have to 'purchase' the next two DLC's - surely that must be some kind of joke after all the hassle with this game!?

This is the long awaited update that's seemingly taken the developers by surprise, according to a few posts on the XBL Addicts forum, which allows the 2010 MotoGP DLC to work in career mode. I read that this fix/update (found on the same site as mentioned above) was due to ship just before the DLC 2, so the fix must have been approved by MS & Sony earlier than expected.

Regarding charging for DLC, Capcom are taking the absolute p1ss if true. All DLC should be released free of charge as a goodwill gesture to those of us who've patiently waited for issues to be fixed.

Cheers.

Completely agree, I would, at a push, begrudgingly pay for a couple of 'real' world tracks - but I will definitely not be purchasing any new bike classes - in my opinion the current physics model isn't up to scratch so what would be the point!?

The new track would be Motorland Aragon (not sure if Monumental have stated it will be in the game as DLC already).

For me to pay even the smallest amount, Capcom will have to release a blockbuster DLC pack - something along the lines of a pack containing the forgotten classic circuits like the old Hockenheim, Suzuka, Salzburgring, Spa, Rijeka & Anderstorp PLUS include a range of 500cc class bikes from the late 80's to 2001 in their full liveries (mod the cigarette sponorships to something else).

If Capcom release a piddly one or two track DLC and charge for it, I wish them luck getting any gamers to buy it.

As for the bike physics, I can live with the revised handling in the DLC. What Monumental should do is get a hold of riders with GP class experience, such as Bradley Smith (for the lower classes) and a rider like James Toseland (for MotoGP) to get their input for '10/'11 so the handling spot on - akin to what Codemasters have undertaken with getting the handling right in F1 2010 by enlisting the help of Anthony Davidson.

FWIW, I hold no malice towards Monumental as DLC screw up aside I think their biggest sin is creating the game Capcom wanted them to make.

Cheers.

Would love to see some classic bikes/tracks in the DLC - can't see that happening though myself. Rumor has it we might be seeing a couple of 'fantasy' tracks instead - I can see that idea going down like a **** in a lift!

Getting some real riders in for GP 11 would be good, I know Scott Redding and Chaz Davies play xbox, I'm sure they wouldn't mind popping over to Nottingham for a day of consultancy. I really do hope Monumental take all the criticisms on board and get in a few pro's this time round. I think most people just want a more authentic experience.

Rumor has it we might be seeing a couple of 'fantasy' tracks instead - I can see that idea going down like a **** in a lift!Monumental could base fantasy tracks on tracks no longer in existence - like the old Hockenheim :D Fantasy tracks are fine with me, so long as a little thought has gone into them, I fondly remember the tracks Bizarre Creations made for F1 '97.

Bradley Smith was at the launch event for MotoGP '09/'10, so getting him on board wouldn't be a stretch - Monumental just need a rider with recent MotoGP experience (Garry McCoy isn't up to much nowadays) or an English speaking test rider to help them out with the bike physics.

I see Monumental was scheduled for an open day on the 18th of September (http://www.xboxliveaddicts.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/47926-an-afternoon-at-monumental-studios/page__pid__307622#entry307622), sadly it was cancelled due to a lack of interest.

If Steve or anyone from the Monumental team is open to a suggestion - please post about open days here on your official forums, along with any other information. The vast majority of posters are not interested in giving you a kicking, we just want the same open lines of communication given to non-official websites.

Cheers.

Since we released 09/10, we've trailed through the forums, reading all the feedback that has been left for us, good and bad. We've also had a number of fans in the studio, looking at handling, gameplay and the overall look and feel of the game. Everything you've said, both here and during the studio visits has been taken on-board by the team who have changed their way of thinking slightly. We fully understand that the fans want a game that accurately mirrors the sport, right down to the look and feel and realise that some aspects of MotoGp 09/10 didn't hit the mark for you. Since 09/10 was released, we've changed direction slightly, ensuring that the fans views are listened to and more importantly, understood.

Part of the reason we wanted to arrange another studio visit was not only to show off the new and improved handling, but also to address some of the issues that have been raised in the various forums regarding most of the gripes you had with 09/10. By inviting fans into the studio under an NDA, we would be able to give you more of an insight into what we've been doing and the changes we've made that you've requested.

On another note, a visit to the studio is still open. Is there a specific day in the week and time that would suit people?

For me personally it's not really a time or day thing - it's a distance thing - I'm currently living down in Plymouth, that's a 500 mile round trip!

Any chance of a BETA a few months before release ;)

Cheers.Hi there,I strongly agree that Monumental should bring in some real expertise. The channel showing MoToGP on danish television has just hired Robin Harms(former MoToGP 125cc rider, and current WSS rider,AND team owner,as a commentator, and I was totally impressed by the insights Robin had into the tecnical aspects of things, and his uderstanding of the physics involved, and imo getting someone like that onboard with the game could really lift the exp.One of the things Robin among other things talked about was MoTo2 and the way they go into turns almost sideways at times. Now Robin is the expert so dont expect me to truely explain it,but he said it had something to do with the bike having a very stiff chasie, and the slipper clutch making the rearwheel go slower than the front(or was it the other way around:whack:),so that the faster harder you downshiftet the bike the more diffrence between the two wheels the more it will come in sideways, wich wasent really a problem as long as you dident overdo it.Then you might get a problem getting the bike to turn in,but otherwise it whould kinda help point the bike in,and just straiten itself out.You are probable going to want Robin to explain it to you ,but to me its detailing like this that could really lift the exp.
Anyway shame about communityday.I really think someone should go,only not me:)

this dlc should :o be coming in the next 2 weeks because:
silverstone gp 18th-20th June
dlc1 7th July
2.5 weeks difference
Aragon gp 17th-19th September
current date 29th September
1.5 weeks difference
  ? thought so

as for fantasy tracks, that comes from the game's official site leaderboards; which still have the 2nd dlc track as Balaton, which is in Hungary and doesn't currently have a track due to lack of funding :chin: HINT MONUMENTAL: change please

It is nice to see you posting here on the forums and more importantly, providing a weighty response that clearly shows Monumental care about their game & franchise as much as those of us who've enjoyed the game. Whilst I won't buy any DLC at this point (unless it's brilliant), I'm more than happy to buy MotoGP '10/'11 based on the enjoyment I got from '09/'10 - it isn't perfect but it's damn good fun.

Part of the reason we wanted to arrange another studio visit was not only to show off the new and improved handling, but also to address some of the issues that have been raised in the various forums regarding most of the gripes you had with 09/10. I would love to attend but the distance between our countries is far too great! What an opportunity as not many non-journalists get offers to a developers open day. I hope those with the biggest gripes have the ability to attend and let the development team know what they think needs fixing face to face.

Please keep posting Steve & make a few tweets (http://twitter.com/MotoGPDev) from time to time too.

Cheers.

please monumental i know u don't post on here that often but, please will you let us know when the next DLC will be available. i'm assuming it will be the other classes and aragon track and FREE AS ADVERTISED BEFORE THE GAME WAS RELEASED.

but DLC 3 is bound to cost,as it says when choosing a game to join ' premium content ' like sum1 else posted b4,i would only pay 4 this if there were tracks that weren't in the calendar anymore, plus old(melandri's spiderman, rossi hawaiian etc) liveries for career bikes, and sum old 2 stroker.

Well I've downloaded them (yeah I know, I'm a glutton for punishment but I couldn't resist), Istanbul is one of my favourite tracks of the by gone era and I do love the long back straight at Shanghai!

But even so....it does feel a little like - "oh wait, we've still got the track plans from when we made MotoGP 07, lets make them into a DLC"

....and why does the volume of the engine reduce when you hit a curb? very strange.

Hello Steve.

Great to see you move active on here. Can you please update your twitter account (@MotoGPDev) from time to time too please, especially with the new DLC ready and waiting for download.

Speaking of DLC, I just downloaded the paid for track pack DLC (400 MSP), I have to say top job done by the Monumental team! The tracks look really damn good and the 2010 MotoGP machines are a dream to ride.

Coming back to '09/'10 after a few months it becomes readily apparent just what a great job Monumental did with the graphics engine - 60fps and great visuals. It looks way better than SBK X (and yes, I own both games :)), both track and bike. It's by no means perfect but it's one hell of a starting point for future games.

For MotoGP '10/'11 and beyond, could the Monumental team please consider a track and bike DLC pack from the golden era of the 500cc class where Lawson, Rainey, Gardner, Doohan & Schwantz (plus notable others like Mamola) raced each other around some very dangerous tracks now long gone from the GP calender.

Cheers.

Would love to see some of the greats I remember from when I was a kid, when I first got into GP Bikes. Rainey was a legend and the battles between him and Schwantz are akin to those we see now with Rossi / Lorenzo! And maybe even some from the recent past - a bit like the Legends team in Fifa - you could race against each other new era legends v classic era legends...

Secondly, apologies Monumental. If your above statement is correct then I would like to withdraw the "Mugged off comment"......
