DR2 is looking to be great but I have one question that needs answering and will decide if I buy the game or not. Is the text readable on a widescreen SDTV?
I looked through all 5 pages and only one topic mentioned it and we didn't get an answer one way or another.
Speaking about this problem in general, I don't think it's right when games are made with only HD in mind. The 360 is an SD & HD system and every game should have support for both types of TV.
In a time where we can create games that can have 1000's of characters on screen at once or create entire cities and states with thousands of people with lives and routines and other amazing things, you'd think we'd be able to fit in two text sizes into a game.
It's like the game developing equivalent of being able to climb Mount Everest but being unable to step onto a kerb. You can do the amazing but the simple is undoable, for some reason. It makes no sense.
I know a common reply is "Buy an HDTV, already!" but some people don't have the luxury of owning an HDTV just yet, especially here in Europe where electronics tend to be much more expensive than in the US.
