do you think there is going to be a resident evil 6,
i have not seen the ending of resident evil 5 but the game is superb from what i have played.
please feel free to comment/ leave a opinion..

Well from the way resi5 just ended for me.
I think it’s gonna be a long time till we see another one and god know what it’s going to be about because some crazy things happen at the end.

I doubt there will be a RE6 cause the ending of RE5 was like "everything is finished". If u have completed the game u know what i mean. I cant think of any way to continue the story without some certain characters and groups.

Well all ties from what I know have been cut, all the main people have done their jobs and all the main bad guys have done their job and died.
Even though I reckon Wesker would probably end up coming back somehow.
So we’ll just have to see, and if they do re-make the original games this is the right time to do it.
But I can’t see this being the end of the resident evil series but I do know that there isn’t going to be another resi game for a while.

i think there will be a new game. it dosent mean that the wont make a new game just`s becus wesker is dead. i mean the game serie is great and i think that the can make better games white new ppl. ;)

There is going to be a Resident Evil 6, rumoured to be released in around 8 years time. This is probably a ball park figure picked by Capcom and will probably come out sooner than this.
The story for Chris, Jill, and Wesker have been completed from what we know of in RE 5, but what about the story of Leon, Ada, Claire, and Sherry from the other RE games?.
Maybe we will see these characters in RE 6, who know's?. But what i can be certain about is that the RE series is far from over as the fanbase is huge, and the series of games makes Capcom alot of money.
I don't have RE5, and if things will go on that way for the 6th, I will not buy it!!!! they have to come back to the roots of the franchise!!!

They've already more or less confirmed Resident Evil 6, however it's been stated it will be a long time away. A very long time away, and a fresh reboot for the series.
There is the potential for a load of spin-offs as much as a full blown sequel.
Resi games haven't really stuck to a straight timeline, so it's possible the next game may go back in time or use some of the other characters from more recent Resi games. Of course, you've got the new Wii shooter coming as well, if you count that! :)

My suggestions for RE6 would be:
Claire as lead character
More exploration
More puzzels
Single player the core design priority
If an AI is present more control other then Cover, Attack, like search, wait, hold fire
It'd be nice to have zombies back
Set it at night
Less Enemies
I read that Capcom is going to reboot the series with RE6... probably a new storyline and different characters.

They can't stop making Resident Evil games man. Its the best gaming franchise out there. I read an interview with Jun Takeuchi about resetting the series in number six. So im guessing its going to be new charactors,new locations,new bio weapons and possibley set in the future. But who knows. They can't bring wesker back into the scene because that story would go on for every.
Here's some ideas I would like to see in new re6 :
1. Zombie Mode - where You can team up with 4 players In one huge house
with locked doors You need enough cash to unlock better weapons etc. Basically the idea from CoD 5 like Nazi Zombies . Think its good? i would like see it in new resi + downlodable content like new guns and levels . Waves of zombies and Your 4 buddies. They attack at night and day is for repairing barricades doors, buying guns health etc. ( Once You finish the game of course this game mode will be available :P )
2. At least 2 different story lines so If You choose Chris You will see different scenario .
3. I want to play LEON he's way cooler than Chris. Leon is smarter :P 'Where's everybody going? Bingo ?! :D hehe I love this'
4. More uniforms and special abilities. Like Leon is martial artists so he can pull out zombie head with one kick ( like chuck norris ). Plus uniforms that can give You some boost for example speed boost, power boost, even invisibility ! Think sneaking up on zombie just to smash their heads !
5. **** LOAD OF WEAPONS! from frying pans to lasers! What will happen If You run out of ammo? Just pick up object that is close by and smash it on zombie!
6. Huge City ! With open buildings ( You will have to find right key to some of them ) just imagine streets of NY full of zombies! there's no way You will find enough ammo You will have to help yourself with what You find! Maybe even a car!
7. Co-op but here's the trick often You will have to split up to search huge area so If one player die well Game Over. This will build up tension that sometime You are alone in that dark alley...mwahaha.
8. Dogs ! I just love the new design of Dogs ! Well done capcom!
9. Different accessories. Like melee armor, boobie traps, nightvison googles etc.
10. Ninjas ! At least one costume :P and some superb melee skills plus katans oh yeah... We love them so much.
If I think of anything else I will post it here. '-.-

If they do make Resident Evil 6 it will have to be a lot scarier. RE 5 Great game but it is not scary.

I hope so and am sure it WILL happen.....the franchise generates tons of money and has followers (dare I say addicts) all over the world. I just hope we are not waiting 4 years for the next one though.
