Please help!

I need to find the brush font of street fighter IV. It's apears in "game over" title, and its the circle of count numbers before any combat. Thanks!

The fonts used in all Capcom games are copyrighted and owned by Capcom, which means they're not accessible for people to use commercially.

However, I'm sure you can find lots of similar ones here:

I'm not even sure Capcom use a particular font for Street Fighter IV. Judging by some of the lettering, it seems to differ so I think the lettering may be all handpainted rather than using a font.

See how the two "E"'s differ?

But yes, as Clayonite has already said, if it is a font they use, it's for use by Capcom only.

I'm sure you'll be able to find something very similar though (there are lots of brush fonts available) and then modify it to look even closer to it with an image editing program if you can. Seems like the best way to go about it.

I think that most of the fonts used in Capcom games are created by DynaComware (http://www.dynalab.com/). Another piece of trivia is that the font used for the Capcom logo is ITC Korinna Extra Bold (http://www.itcfonts.com/fonts/detail.htm?ProductId=152405).

It's definitively a font due to localization, as with all games. My guess is that it's simply an upper and lower case E, which are in different slots in the bitmap, but both made look uppercase.

As for where the font is from - could be anywhere! Could've even been made in-house. Usually we [game studios] buy licensed fonts, but sometimes we make them from scratch too, like I did in Nintendo's Art Academy, incidentally. -Which is my handwriting!
