SF IV disc(s) unreadable on 360

Hi guys.

My copy of SFIV keeps coming up with 'disc unreadable' and throwing me back to xbox main page either on the beginning arcarde cut screen, or on the 'vs' screen before a fight.

I sent the first copy back and now the second copy is doing it to. Ive swapped 360's, changed save location from hard drive to memory card and tried using different account. HELP! All i wanna do is play SFIV!!

Also tried 'wiping' game with a soft cloth, but we all know that doesnt ever work does it?

Have you tried to clean the pickup lens? If you want to try a lens cleaner disc, make sure it a DVD one, and preferably not a cheap product. Depending what drive is in your 360, taking the dvd drive apart and cleaning the lens might be better.
But before you try anything of those, does your 360 works perfectly with other games?

That's a bad sign as my Sonic unleashed did that too straight from the first time I started playing it so had to send it back. You sent another back so it might be harder to do it again. Did any other games have the same effect on the 1st 360 as it might be scratching them?

It does sound like a DVD drive problem, Try using a lense cleaner as dust may have made it's way into the drive.

If that does not solve the problem how old is your 360?
