I Have No Word For How Disepointed i am, i have only played the game for about 20 minutes, i doubt i wil play this Edit Spike bad Language anymore, Its and discrease against the Resident Evil Series:(

Why the heck do i have does the dude have to cover 47% or so of the screen:confused:

And the ammo for the main player and (Chris) and my "assistant" Sheva covers about 10% of the screen, what the heck, we aint blind, when playing on an 37" screen with an PS3 i need to see more than 30% to enjoy the game :(

the controls is by faar the worst i have ever used since 1989:shocked:

The way that the peson is controled and the view is so baad that i am in fact thinking about sending in the game and claim refound for it.

that wil be the first game that i ever have sendt in!

Wil cal Capecom on Monday and hopfuly get my money back!

How are they even able to make so huge mistakes??????

Its the Main Char that is taking upp way to much of the screen, (view) that means his back (Chris)

If you are to se his as al the time it should be similar to Dead Space ((Btw Dead space is by my opinion one of the best ps3 games:thumb:))

Capcome got to do some changes and get the controls and view similar to Dead Space, Army of Two, Bewolf (even that game is better:shocked:) The New Grand theft Auto, if possible even to be able to play with the view as in Resistance Fall Of Man

And yes, i was stupid enough to buy colectors edition for 649 kr -.-

Lol, you make suggestions based on games from other genres? Resistance? Seriously? ;D

You're over-exaggerating. The view is fine and so is the amount of space the character takes up. In tight spaces, Chris may take up a lot more of the screen but otherwise it's fine.

You seem to enjoy Dead Space so my advice to you would be to play that. It's fair enough that you don't enjoy Resident Evil 5, yet exaggerating certain aspects is hardly the appropriate way of voicing your opinion. ;]

Considering not everyone shares your view, it's highly unlikely that Capcom would release a new patch 'fixing' the controls for those with problems.

Out of curiosity, did you ever play Resident Evil 4?

Right you mean Chris, sorry i misunderstood.

I had no problems with it, it was the same in Resi 4 and most 3rd person shooters, i find the closeness more creepy.
I prefer they way it is in Resi 5 is over Dead space view but i guess it's personal opinion.

Dead Space is good but my fave Ps3 games is LBP.

Did you play RE4? Anyway, chances are you'll get used to it. You may not like it but you'll most likely be able to effectively play the game - it works.

Yes i got resident evil 4

(got several editions for of the RE relese for PS1 PS2 PS3 and PC, Normal And Colectors edition)

Where Leon is the main and Ashley Graham is also in the "role"

i know RE4 is an few years old, thou i started playing RE the same day it was relesed at PS1 continued on PS2.

I was an RE fan until RE5.

Thou if an patch is relesed where you may deside how close or faar the distance to the back is and if the controls get`s better it may be an chanse that the game wil be given more than 2 in score, i wil not so faar recomend this game until i see some changes and i wil keep the scoor down in al my reviews.
Hoplfuly thou i doubt it it wil be possible to costumise more. and there are way to many bugs from the start, by that i realy mean bugs, when walking in thigth spacesSheva is Phusing Crhis way to mush, she also rins into and i mean into Chris so she merges with him on several occations.
So so faar this is what i think should be changed: 1: better possibility to change view (chris) 2: Fix grapichal errors 3: Fix Contol issue 4: Fix Shadow effects 5: fix Controls

If these smal things are changed it would make it and real follow upp in the RE series, thou with so faar, it aint event worth playing

(btw i`m word blind as you may see)

I think RE 5 is very similar to RE 4 so I don't entirely see where you are coming from. As for bugs, I didn't notice any throughout the complete game.

i forgot to state that i only got RE4 on PC.

Thou the things i have stated i stand for.

And when i regards bugs, i wonder how you are unnable to see them??

Anyway, i am Realy disapointed, No Matter What!

And i wil hope there wil be an patch to fix these problems.

Please try an few of the games i stated further up. and you wil see what i am trying to state:)

I played many of these games. It's a different type of controls. I understand what you mean, they aren't to everyone's liking. Give them a chance, perhaps. They work, you've got to "learn" them, though.

I'm so happy with the game :)

Maybe because they're not prevalent to everyone? I haven't experienced any issues other than the odd slowdown. Nothing major or frequent though.

And i wil hope there wil be an patch to fix these problems.

You can't patch something that doesn't affect everyone. Guerrilla Games have commented on the possibility of releasing a control patch for Killzone 2. Yet the problem lies in trying to find a suitable patch that can make the experience better for others, whilst still allowing those without issues to carry on enjoying their so-far positive experience.

Please try an few of the games i stated further up. and you wil see what i am trying to state:)

I've played Grand Theft Auto IV, I used to own Dead Space and I own Resistance. You can't compare these games (other than maybe Dead Space) because they're of a completely different genre and style to Resident Evil 5. They were built for a purpose, as was Resident Evil 5.

Even bringing up Resistance at all is a fallacious reference to make. Beowulf's mention was just as bad.

There's nothing wrong with voicing your opinions on a game. However, there's a huge stench in the air and that's coming from the over-exaggeration and wishful thinking that's beyond realistic. :thumb:

All I can say to you is to see if you can play through it at least once to experience what it has on offer, rather than making judgments based on the first hour or so. Many people found Resident Evil 5's demo to be rather shoddy, as well as controlling like a drunken tank driver. Yet the final game and the patience required resulted in said gamers enjoying the final product.

If there's one thing I simply despise about this rather shallow generation, it's the ridiculous demands and rather lazy attitude of many gamers.

Gamers never had it so easy in their lives.

I don't find anything in that first post a valid complaint about the game. I never once thought anything of the character's size in comparison to the screen. Given the amount of time that you've played it, I don't even think you've given the game a chance. The game is great. Give it a chance. Capcom won't refund you money for a game just cos you're not sure you really like it. Hundreds of others do not share your complaint. That's what the demo is for.

Yeah, as we all know, with enough patience, you get used to driving a tank (or whatever the vehicle may be) drunken and the final product of such activities is thouroughly enjoyable - kind of.

Ah, great. Just when I wanted to suggest a sexual joke attempt achievement. What's with all that boxes and cages, a personal preference of yours? (I mean as a storage device; also: don't drink and drive, watch the alcohol ads for further instructions.)

On a sidenote, Nox (is that alright?), in my opinion, his comparisons aren't that far off, at all.

yeah is very similar, in the sea the monster of Richard Irving is the same monster in re4 of Salazar and the camera y some places of the game are the same, like the place of are the lickers that room its very similar to the room of the regenerators in re4, the ruins etc..
but the game is so wonderful i have to admite, so u...

I have a question ´bout Resident evil the darkness chronicles, i saw that this game would be as umbrella chronicles , but
We can move the character and go where we want ?, or the character is moved by the console and we only have to shoot?

As for the cage, I do hope it's not an Iron Maiden cage. Those things are brutal! CODE: Veronica thoughts inbound...

Triple Seven, there's nowt wrong driving a tank after a few beverages. Just like in Resident Evil 5 though, there's enough room for a bit of crash and burn if you're not savvy.

I don't find the controls that BAD at all really. A little cumbersome at times but not F****NG AWFUL type. I use type D and it feels quite good imo. I use the 'fastest' aiming type and I don't have many problems.

Anyway, on the the game. To be 100% honest its not good...its BLOODY GOOD. :D I knew what to expect; I knew it would use the same system/controls as Resi 4, I knew it wasn't going to be scary, I knew you couldn't walk and shoot at the same time...and yet I love it.

*SPOILERS*
The first time I encountered the Dogs in chapter 2, I'm like "what's that?" I actually thought "Is that a normal Dog?" Then "WOOF" and they mutate and attack me. I knew these creatures were in the game but it kind of caught me off-guard there.

Reminded me of that part in Resi 4 when you first meet those dogs and you can see it in the distance next to the church. One of the best moments in Resi 4, imo.
*END SPOILERS*

But there is a HUGE problem with this game. Its about the size of the characters on screen...Sheva's butt is too big and it gets in the way. :D

I'm Joking; we must all hail the mighty booty that is Sheva

Someone put me in a cage please. :(

Honestly! HONESTLY?
What the Edit Spike Filter dodging hell are you complaining about.
I’m on a 37" TV and its fine your just one of these stupid Edit Spike Filter dodgingwho always play gears of war and Edit Spike Filter dodging like halo!

Go away please just save yourself the breath and leave, I don’t really care what you have to say or think there is nothing wrong with the game and if you want to start a fight go for it cause I play games like call of duty and GTA (heavy fps and third person games) so it’s not like I don’t know what I’m talking about.

There is nothing wrong with the controls or the game, and if I can manage the game at like 7 in the morning after not having any sleep, I think anyone else can.

Do you think people should care about what you just said? Tone it down and give people the benefit of the doubt. Personal insults aren't acceptable. I wouldnt think anyone shares this guys view, I am slightly dissappointed the fact that the enemies are "game-by-game" slowly turning into the equivalent of a stupid human but thats understandable that games need to change still I don't see how the camera view from RE5 is any diffrent than the one from Dead Space... I fail to see any difference in the cameras.. someone could perhaps explain this to me?
