Move, Kinect, 3DS, Xbox "slim"
Which interest you? Why?
I'm intrigued by Move, but I want to see more before I invest in it.
I want Kinect, but I also want to see some games for it before I get it...
The 3DS is a likely buy for me, with Resident Evil, and the possibility of an Ocarina of Time remake having surfaced a little while ago.
Xbox "Slim" i'm not particularly interested in, though may buy oneday...

Might budge on PS Move. Definitely gonna go for the 3DS due to its library and will also throw down for the 360 Slim now that it finally has the interior stuff I've been wanting.
3DS is number 1, that thing is so bought.
Xbox slim I don't need, maybe once it's cheap or a Kinect bundle.
Move, I have no interest in. It came off as a Wii HD wannabe. I mean Tiger woods and some crappy wizard game? and heroes of move looked so so bad.
Kinect was a massive meh but has potential, The dance game looked like fun and Mizuguchi performance of Child of Eden almost sold me on it....almost. I'll have to try it out. The conference sku'd it so low that it was cringe worthy to watch so I'll reserve judgement till I play it.
3DS is number 1!
I don't think I could care less for Move or Kinect.
I'll be buying the 3DS, pretty much for the same reasons as TZM, but with Animal Crossing as well. The Slim is a might buy, as I need a bigger hard drive and that will get me to finally upgrade from my 20GB.
I wouldn't mid all TBH down to me being a gamer first and foremost
3DS looks the business and has the support also it's Nintendo
Kinectic looks fun which many games seem to miss out on today
Move again looks fun similar to the Wii but more accurate
360 slim as it looks sexy lol
I'm interested in Move, mainly because while the Wii was a good console, it lacked the oomph necessary to show true potential with its controls, considering there are some games already compatible with it (RE5 <3), makes it oh so more appealing. As well as having tactile feedback unlike Kinect, which is seemingly the new Eyetoy.
Initially I didn't care much for the 3DS, but since the announcement of RE on the console, I will pick it up eventually, even more so if there's a decent line up of games, namely Castlevania, Metroid or a well made sequel to an existing franchise, I've heard there'll be a MGS game on there too, so even if I don't buy it on release, I will get it eventually.
Xbox Slim will probably be something I pick up when my existing Xbox360 gives up the ghost, I'll probably get it repaired and keep it as either a spare or give it to a relative as a gift whilst I buy a slim. It has features I'll use, Wireless would be pretty cool although it's not a problem for me now. The larger drive, however, is very appealing since I buy a lot of games and DLC online, starting to get a wee bit cramped on there.
As for Kintect, not really sold on it, I have a small room I can't really dance around in, as well as it being sensative to motion and lacking any real physical feedback like a contolller pad. It will no doubt have its gems, but I prefer Move at the moment.
I will definately be buying the PS Move now, as the controls and sensitivity of the hardware look to be much better than that of the Wii remote and nunchuck. Plus the games which were shown for the PS Move, ie Sorcery, Tiger Woods 2011, Heroes on the move, etc looked really good, and also future releases which will be on it. For starters games such as RE5, Heavy Rain, etc will be patched for the PS Move, and EA will be utilising their games for it, ie Dead Space 2, etc.
The Xbox Slim, i will be buying one, once it comes bundled with Kinect. Kinect comes a close second to the PS Move to me, and some of the games on it interest me, ie Kinect Forza, and Kinect Star Wars. I also like the way you can use it to navigate the dashboard with your hand, rather than having to use a controller. The voice recognition of Kinect, is also a nice feature, one which will hopefully be utilised in games for it in the future. The only reason i will be buying the Xbox Slim, is because it is going to be 'whisper quiet', and for this reason alone i will be investing in one. The noise level of my current Xbox 360 is really distracting when i'm playing a game on it, (even when installed to the hard drive), and it takes away some of the fun for me, as i'm always worried it's going to RROD on me. Plus the added features of a 250Gb HD, and wireless, are also a big plus for it.
The 3DS, i'm not really that interested in. I can't see how you will be able to get a full 3D effect of the games on it, just off the tiny 3.4in screen alone, without the need for glasses. I love my DSi to bits, and the games currently out for it are fantastic, but i honestly believe 3D gaming on the DS is a gimmick. From the looks of the Kid Icarus game for it, it was nothing special, certainly not a game i would rush out to buy a 3DS for. Some of the future game releases coming for it sound interesting, especially the new RE game. I will wait for the reviews on it, to help me decide whether or not to buy one. Which by then, they would have probably annouced the 3DSi.:DJoke.
So these are my personal opinions on the the consoles/addons that interest me.
I'll wait to see if the Move is as great as it could be.

As for M$. I have a perfectly great working 20 month old Falcon so I dont need the "Slim" yet.
As for Kinect (what a stupid name) it is just another piece of garbage so M$ can do what they do best screw us and rip us off. Who the heck wants to spend £130 ($191.50) to jump around like a complete moron to play shovleware games.
Cant M$ get it through their stupid moronic heads that hardcore gamers dont want motion controll. It is total garbage. Why do they think that 71million+ gamers play 360 and PS3's Beacause wde dont want the garbage that is the Wii.
I hope this flops and flop badly and make M$ a laughing stock amonghst hardcore gamers.

I find Slim consoles usually have an over-heating problem (and just because I posted thread about it, doesn't mean I want one) and as above stated I'm not prepared to jump around like a moron either, well not until the full Star Trek Holo-Deck is invented, but the two motion orientated releases are a step closer to that HoloDeck, thankfully :D
The 3DS looks the most interesting out of the lot, wouldn't mind seeing it in action but I wouldn't buy one. A PS3 is the top priority at the mo. :)
But in all honestly I can't really vote for any of them.
TZM: I'd say is Hardcore, most people I know who play Obilivion are Hardcore to the Bone!

You're asking an awfully deep, commanding and very very difficult question to answer in this day and age ruled by immaturity, double-standards and invalid ideals.
But you're bang on the money. The focus on platforms and features overtaking the games and software themselves is ludicrous and hilariously childish.
My one question to everyone is, because Kinect and PS Move are going to be released means you have to buy it? Means you have to play the games tailored to these products? It's like Sony and Microsoft knocked on your door, you opened it and they stood there with a gun pointed at you while smoking cigars and speaking in a Clint Eastwood accent saying, "GIVE UP ALL YOUR GAMES AND BUY MOTION-CONTROL NAO!"

I don't class my self as Hard core or casual.
I class my self like many other on hear as a real gamer who enjoys games, and will try anything new so I can build and base my opinions on my experiences.

It's all about the 3DS for me. It is a very impressive piece of hardware. There are also some really big titles in those 72 in development.
Move failed to impress. It seems to work very well but it there was only one dedicated game on show and it did not look that great.
Kinect is just an overpriced webcam that Microsoft is trying to use in an attempt to circumvent alot of Nintendo's new audience. I have a 360 already so the 'slim' isn't really a big deal for me.

Anyway, here are my thoughts:
Kinekt is for kids and old people.
Move is too expensive but the wizard game was awesome!(still not worth 80 bucks)
3DS is awesome! Im thinking about buying it...
Before the microsoft e3, i was thinking: Hey, maybe ill buy xbox360 if they announce some games or at least one game i have to play(like an exclusive metal gear or something). Nope, nothing happened so i dont care about xbox360 slim. But i like its style.

If I am truly honest I am not interested in any of these, I am more curious about how 3D will turn out.
3DS for me. Not overly fussed with 3D technology on the whole but the games line up is what sells it to me. I'll be desperately finding the pennies for it come launch I think :D
Although I love my Wii, I've no real interest in more motion control based gaming although no doubt it'll be useful for the casual gamer.
