Oh? SF2THDR is still something I've got to buy but reading that Capcom may HDR MvsC2 is even more of a sure buy.
However, DarkStalkers HDR would be much more appreciated. Morrigan in HD would be awesome beyond the need for words.

Damnit I was about to post this awesome news but I see you beat me to it! :D
Imagine it my friends. Marvel VS Capcom 2 in HD with trophies and achievements! (PSN and XBLA respectively).
Extremely quick edit: Ideas for a few trophy/achievements:
Name - Uniting the Cause
Description - Unlock all 56 characters
Worth? - Gold (PSN) 40G (XBLA)
Name - New Age Hero
Description - Complete the game without using continues on the highest difficulty setting
Worth? Silver, 30g
Name - X-Men United
Description - Complete the game without using continues with any 3 X-Men characters
Worth? Bronze, 10G
Name: Lone Fighter
Description - Complete the game without using assists, continues or switching to any support character
Worth? Hmm I'm not sure actually
Sorry I'm just too excited for this even though nothnig has officially been confirmed!

I'd rather keep seeing the true Street Fighter games re-made with HD sprites or Final Fight. The cross-over games to me just aren't that interesting anymore.
SF1 HD re-make re-tweaked with all characters playable:cool:
or of course the Alpha's.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom has renewed my interest in the crossover games. If MVSC2 was remade I would snap it up no matter the price. =D

HD CVS2 plese, with a decent soundtrack this time. :p
Seriously, I'd be playing that more than SFI at the moment if the PS3's custom soundtracks worked with PS2 games.
MVC2 I could take or leave, I never enjoyed it quite the same as the first one, a lick of paint wouldn't necessarily convince me.
