View Full Version : Very special copy of Super Street Fighter IV!
I have two copies (one 360, one PS3) of the Japanese collector's edition of Super Street Fighter IV on my desk, which I'm told contains an art book, a soundtrack cd and a dvd as well as the game. They need a really good home.
Let's start with the 360 version - tell me here in no more than a hundred words why I should give it to you. Closes tomorrow 12pm BST. Good luck!
I've grown so fond of the series over these past few months, a prize like this would be a testament to that.
I bought SFIV on release date, but never really played it seriously until I got it online, I've practised and I've certainly got better at it, which has allowed me to progress not only on to SSFIV, but all of the previous games as available to strive to get better at it. The collectors edition would not only be a reward for sticking at the game, but also a push to keep going on to greater things.
Wow. I would really like it, because I got Streetfighter 4 too recently to buy Super Streetfighter IV. I'm a huge Streetfighter Fan, and I'd also appreciate the artwork. AND I should be getting an arcade stick for my birthday.
But in reality, I tend to think of games more of a commodity, and I'm not a collectors-edition type collector (the game is usually enough for me) and all these Legendary editions and what not are a bit over my head.
So yes, this is something that I would enjoy. But I think a lot of the people here would appreciate the whole package a lot more than me, so I pass.

The last actual Street Fighter game I owned was SF2 on the SNES, SF since then failed to reach comparison. SF4 was good but I still didn't have that urge to want to buy it to play it. SSF4 however with the added characters and stages feels like its gone back to its proper roots finally. After just finishing university finally, i have the urge to play something so technical and so rewarding, but frustrating and demanding at the same time. Thank god for region free!

SF was cool back in the day when the original was released in the arcades (yes I am old enough to remember pumping my pocket money into the arcade around ‘89) and the game is STILL uber-cool today!
Obviously things have moved on in the 3decades that have passed since its original incarnation and for me now just sitting down playing SSFIV I get a little nostalgic about all the good times I’ve had with the series.
To own the rare SE would be fantastic as its something I’d cherish in my collection (the artwork rocks)!

i love SF4 so much! i bought a 360 last year only for SF4 (and RE5 actually :D) and i recently bought my first arcade stick (Tournament Edition) because i wanted to fully enjoy SF4. i haven't bought a copy of SSF4 yet because i'm too busy with the school, but the reason why i really want the summer to begin is to buy SSF4 and play it aaaaall the summer! now that i finally got a broadband internet connection, i'm seriously thinking of getting a gold account for my 360 to join fighters from all over the world :D another thing, that SSF4 japanese copy would match perfectly with my signed SF4's artwork! :D

My first game for super nintendo was street fighter 2, i have bought every Street Fighter that was released except on Dreamcast or PSP. Bought the collectors edition of street fighter 4 on release date. I enjoy the game a lot, its new style is super cool and its always a lot of fun playing the game with friends or with others online. I got the animated movies and series on DVD, got a ken statue and a tshirt, i even still own the game based on the first real movie, which i also have on tape lol.
As a 31 year old gamer one series has been with me most of my life that is street fighter. As a big fan of the series from putting pounds into the arcades as a teenager and playing the snes version for hours it had a competitive edge like no other and that has continued through to the 360 version we got today. I met my best friend playing street fighter at the arcades and we still battle to this day. The collectors edition would be a great way to complete my collection.

I have been a dedicated follower of the Street Fighter phenomenon since the late 1990's. During that time I have collected every PAL Street Fighter and Versus title to grace the GameBoy Advance, X-Box, DreamCast and every PlayStation console. Through these consoles I have collected almost much every Street Fighter game in existence. I am also a collector of the anime, artwork books, comics and twelve years on, I still strongly collect anything Street Fighter related. As a part of my collection it would not go to waste and would be forever a part of my SF memorobilia.

I ended up getting so excited about SSFIV, I pre-ordered the game, something which I'd never done before.
I recently bought an SF branded tournament fightstick. I love Street Fighter and I love arcades. I'm slowly building up a collection of SF related anythings and this lovely piece sure would not look out of place.

DOOHHH I really want that tournament stick too! Can't justify £120 though.
Incedentally, for everyone else, I recommend SF Alpha 3 as one ofthe best 2D fighters EVER.

It's so worth it. Especially if you've got other fighting games on the 360/PS3 or are just a big fan of fighting games/Street Fighter. I could never go back to a pad now. ^^
Yes, definitely! SFA3 is my favourite Street Fighter game and favourite fighting game of all time. I love it so much. And nah, I REALLY wish it was though.

I have my copy just sitting in the box it came in...unused...but I'm not giving it away like Tenebra. I'm not THAT nice I'm afraid.
