Without a camera I don't see how it will tell anyone what it has seen on its super secret mission. Then again it could always tell the world on twitter, assuming it can tweet :p.

Actually during WWII, pigeons were to be used to guide missiles into german ships. they would be trained to peck at a screen to tilt the missile! I dont think it was ever put into use but it's pretty awesome!

I'd imagine after they use sleep deprivation techniques, then connect him up to a polygraph and start to interrogate it will start singing. Then it'll probably get out on a plea bargain.
If it's a hard beaked pigeon and it doesn't start talking soon it could be looking at hard time, possibly even capital punishment.
They should get the Pigeon Detectives to investigate!
