Insomniac Games Announce New IP With EA Games for PS3 & Xbox 360

Insomniac have just announced that they are working on a new IP for EA Games which will be released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 - their first foray on to foreign territory (where consoles are concerned).

No news on what the title is but it's exciting news all the same.

For those unaware, Insomniac Games developed the first Spyro the Dragon games, as well as Ratchet & Clank and Resistance.

Good news for all the xbox fans out there but sadly Resistance and R&C series will remain exclusives since they're Sony owned IPs.

However despite the recent partnership with EA concerning this new multiplatform IP, Insomniac also said that they're still working on Sony exclusives :giggle:

Insomniac have two studios now so they've got a pretty decent-sized group of folks to handle multi-platform and exclusive titles in tandem.

I suspect Resistance 3 will be out this year from one studio, with this new multiplatform title out next year at some point.
