View Full Version : Monster Hunter G (Wii) - japanese online fees
In an article on famitsu.com (http://www.famitsu.com/game/news/1222673_1124.html) the pricing for the hunting tickets have been confirmed.
- 30 days ticket = 800 Wii points
- 60 days ticket = 1500 Wii points
- 90 days ticket = 2000 Wii points
There will be a 14 day trial, probably key include with the disc(?).
So it seems you'll need to buy wii points. This could be a problem for import gamers, if they don't have a japanese machine.

I am not sure how a lot of fans will react to this charge as the original ps2 version was free.
As long as the servers are decent i don't mind.
The ps2 version wasn't free in japan, same with biohazard outbreak series and gundam AEUG vs TITANS. Capcom has always charged people in japan for online gaming, outside japan is a bit different.

I would seriously question the reliability of that information. As it appears to be listed nowhere else, and Capcom were rather adamant that it would not recieve a worldwide release a mere a month or two ago.
Maybe our board admin could give us some info on the issue ^_^, that is if they actually check the board.
Let's hope so.. I would LOVE Monster Hunter G on the Wii stateside.
