The latest issue of Game Informer made its way to US subscribers and many users from NeoGaf and Shoryuken have commented on what information regarding the game was revealed:
New Characters Revealed:
Dante
Captain America
Felicia
Deadpool
Character Information:
Deadpool - Apparently if you try to spam his teleportation ability too many times, it will malfunction in a comical manner. Also, Deadpool can grab his health bar (yes, the health bar) and then proceed to beat the oppoent with it. Deadpool retains his fourth-wall-borkage ftw. He can also do the moon walk.
Chris Redfield will use weapons from Resident Evil 5, including the cow prod.
Wolverine and Hulk appear to retain their Supers from MvC2.
Control Scheme/Gameplay Mechanics:
The control scheme will utilise Tasunoko vs. Capcom's interface.
Alpha, Beta and Hyper move cancels.
Launchers can be used via just the one button.
Levels:
Daily Bugle NYC stage during a parade.
Megaman Legends stage featuring Kobuns and Tron Bonne in the background.

They are so many good characters in Mvc Series i dont know who the team choose too keep but i hope only this game keep the design's soul of the series in the new roster.
I only hope each characters keep their personnality, punch and speed for the battle.
And interaction between two or more character at the intro battle cause they are rival. (Like Hugo and Alex in Sf3ts :D (Andre le geant vs Hulk Hogan)), Gen/Gouki for some exemple.

I think i really dont like the graphisme. But i give a chance we need a video of gameplay in hd.
Heard that it is DMC3 Dante and he uses his guitar as well.

There is all the information summarised in to one big fat post.
Dante: "He may be based on the young Devil May Cry 3 protagonist, but this Dante comes equipped with the best moves from the entire series. He can juggle rival fighters with his dual pistols, close distances by sliding on his knees while playing Nevan (his guitar weapon), and even activate his deadly Devil Trigger mode to increase his speed and power."
GI seemed very impressed with how Dante was represented in the game. "His cockiness and bravado shines through in every action, doing the white-haired badass justice."
Awwww hellz yeaaaaaaaaaaaa beefcake. Dante as my main confirmed.
Deadpool will be my second main. Now to find the ideal third character.

That's FANTASTIC news! I can't wait to play as Deadpool, got my main character all sorted now. :3
And the fact that he can grab his own health bar and use it as a weapon? That's hilarious, I love it!

Yeah the graphics are looking lush. I'm sure we'll see some official hi-res pictures sooner than later though.
I'm hopefuly Spidey will appear seeing as the Daily Bugle stage has been announced too. :)

I'm loving the new/SFIV mt framework style. the anime thing has been done to death now. It was fine during the Alpha/zero era but now there are too many similar games. Blazblue, battle fantasia, guilty gear........ they're not bad games but they are all to samey. Which is funny because thats exactly the rutt 3D fighters got them selves stuck in at the end of the ninetys!

I Agree, even if they remade every sprite from scratch, it'd feel like the same game remastered.
It's a refreshing approach that they've chosen comic books, a western art, as opposed to anime like so many other games do in cell shade. I'm loving the style, it's close to some renders you'd see on comic book covers, plus it's translating well, many of the moves are intact and only tweaked.
My only gripe is that we're once again forced in to three on three battles, at least with MvsC the two characters represented teamplay, and a certain strategy was involved by switching between the two. But with MvsC2, three seemed like too much, you could pull off three ultra combo's in the space of a few seconds with all three characters, which isn't over the top, it's sheer insanity...

Very surprised Deadpool was actually given a Shoryuken. Was hoping he would but didn't actually think he'd get it! Really awesome move there. Meaningless to most but means too much to others!
Dante, unsurprisingly looks good. Glad to see the Cap using the same moves. Not so glad that Ryu's voice is English. Hopefully it's something that can be changed but part of me believes this may be the only choice. The whole western comic book look, tone etc is leading me to believe all voices will be English? Hopefully not. Ryu just doesn't sound that good. Cap sounds a little different. Not liking his roaring when he shouts 'Charging Stars!' but otherwise he still sounds fairly good ('Thumbs up soldier' better be in there!).
Although it generally looks pretty awesome sometimes it looks a little "dry"? Usually it's Wolverine that looks the most dry. As if the model is lacking some texture or detail.

Loving that new longer trailer on the site; I must have watched the middle section of it about 5 times in a row now. That smile of Dante's makes me melt *fangirl squee* and Morrigan looks so adorable when she's helpless. Awwwh. (Or was she really? You know what them Succubus' are like :p).
Is that Chris taunting and saying "Suck it"? I've seen that a few times in the gameplay videos now and if so, that's hilarious.
Those air combos/team aerial combos look niiiiiiiiiiiiiice. Dante is looking seriously fun to play, he'll be going in my team. As will Deadpool and maybe Chris. Or Frank West. Or Morrigan. Whoever the last member is, gonna have a fun team. :3

Vergil....Nelo Angelo...either is good....although I will go comatose if we get Vergil that can transform in to Nelo Angelo....Unlikely, but we can all hope...
I'm sure hoping that there are secret characters that aren't revealed too early, problem I had with SSFIV was that all where revealed to liven up the hype, lets hope there's some magic in there when the game is beaten for the first time, only to tell us we've unlocked Albert Wesker...

I get what he means by action figure. It has this really unusual look to it, along with the dryness I spoke of before. Just takes getting used to. Iron Man and Wolverine just don't look that great visually. Chris and Deadpool though. Good stuff!!
Ah, I thought he was referring to MvsC2 since he was talking about 2D sprites and "SNES" graphics.
I love the art style though, they've got several of the characters right on the money, Morrigan looked somewhat out of place since she looked the least "inky", but the characters look right, Dante looks miles better in the extended trailer since we've got to see more of him in motion, unlike the screenshots and glimpses.
But I think it's translated well from the sprites, most of it is intact, looks VERY fast, which is kinda ironic since it's probably using more console resources than a sprite based game, just thinking back to the original MvsC on PS1 where you couldn't switch characters instantaneously since it was too much on the console...heh...

So excited! I can't wait till we find out more about the rosters.
The last guy in the trailer is Dormammu the arch nemesis of Doctor Strange he will most likely replace Abyss as the last boss. He is a demon king from the dark dimension and goes to others dimensions to drain all of thier life force from them. So now we know why the subtitle is called Fate of Two Worlds.
