I'm attending a training course for over a week in July, and I think it's near where the Xmas party was.
anything going on from the 12th - 19th?

Hey mate,

Carb was planning on organising a forum get together in the summer, so you might have a bit of luck, if it's set within the dates you've given. :p

Needless to say, if I come, I'll be on crutches. Fun times!

Having my op on the 20th May, and I had to give a urine sample, swabs and 3 tubes of blood on wednesday, in preparation for it.

Peachy!

Sounds like one of my recipes :p

Hope it's nothing serious.

I once got a very stern look from a nurse once as I handed over a urine sample, I asked "Are you taking the ****?"

I think she lolled on the inside.

Lmao, I would have been laughing at that. Ah, the immaturity! :p

Nah, nothing too serious.....just reconstruction of my Anterior Cruciate Ligament in my leg, as I don't have one anymore, and could have arthritis by the time I'm 40, if I don't have the operation.

Nothing too serious. XD

Lol, I'm in a lighthearted and sarcastic mood. :p

I can come....but will die from exhaustion as I'll be on crutches, lol. Yea, I guess I hadn't informed everyone. Nobody needs to know, but I felt like saying it regardless. Haha!

My bad.

I'll buy you a wheelchair (or if it's too expensive, I'll rob a Tesco trolley). There, now you're coming.

Awesome! Jousting sessions?

Lol, stairs will become problematic. I need a wheelchair with pogo sticks in replacement for wheels it seems.

Jousting lessons? I'm not going to break a leg for your own amusement. Gosh.

As for stairs, I'll push you down them whilst you're in the trolley. Just make sure you wear a crash helmet.

On a more serious note, at some point in June I'll most likely make a new thread and throw down some places in or around London that's accessible for y'all. I'm sure the weather will be great so we may not have to stick to just indoor places, though heading off to a pub during the evening may be a wise option.
