Anyone read the latest news item yet? If not:

About a year ago, Capcom was approached by Streetlight films and Joey Ansah (acclaimed movie action man from the Bourne Ultimatum and lifelong Street Fighter fan) with a proposal to create a live action interpretation of the classic Street Fighter story. With the combination of their film fight action experience, production skills and huge passion for Street Fighter, Capcom gave their permission for the team to explore that vision. The out come is a live action short film – Street Fighter Legacy - which has been made by fans, for the fans. The full piece will be coming soon, watch this space for more details.Had a look on his website and judging by the teaser trailers and pictures, it's looking pretty accurate (that Ken is perfect <3). I'm really looking forward to how this will turn out.

Finally we can have an accurate fighting game movie which follows the game's storylines. :hop:

I find the trailers very bad. And Ken and Ryu look very small and bad. For play these dude we need some Wrestler ^^.

It's looking decent but I think us fans will never be satisfied with a live action SF movie. The only SF movie I liked was Street Fighter 2 the animatied movie (still have it on VHS :D) I wish them all the best though.

There are a couple of trailers at the official YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/StreetfighterLegacy).

I haven't seen enough to really be able to judge. Then again, I'm intrigued by this, and hope to be watching it when it is released.

i just saw the full thing! it's pants! it's very very short, the effects are chaesy and half the sceenes from the teaser trailers (the rainy sceenes) aren't in it! Its said it was the full thing on the youtube page but i cant be can it? 3 mins of cheasy effects? if it is it's a waste of time!

They called it a short, but I was surprised by how short it really was. Still, it was pretty cool.

Well, I expected it to be a bit longer (like 20 minutes or something), but I really liked it. The fighting was really well done and the characters signature moves were done perfectly.

It made me smile and I think it's really worth a watch. Well done to the team that created this. :D

Realy???? i thought it was about the cheasyest thing i have ever seen hadoken and Shoryuken just dont look right done with real people and bad special effects.
