I heard 31st December 2009 for Japan so expect it around summer 2010
Jarlino linked it to me through MSN. And hell, it's making me consider a Wii.
Though I'll just be the fool and hope for a 360 port for a bit, first.

Sounds as though you may have misheard as Summer 09 was the announcement from Capcom.
I like the trailer, really do... but to me, it looks just like the trailer for the previous monster hunter games, looking like so much more then what the game actually offers.
That's not to say that I'll definitely pick it up, but I'm patient enough. By the time the European version might be released, Japan might have a portable port already. XD
yea i cant find dates online, so i guess some1 just told me that was the date and I have had it in my head since then x_x
still... i wouldnt be surprised, at least for the amercan/europe release dates as mhp2g came out forever ago in japan yet Unite still aint got a date

MHG Wii on 23rd April - MH3 will be released at the end of 09, but not the 31st december lol, every site without a date says " 31st Dec. ".
The european release ( still not 100% sure ) would be like half a year after, or like Unite, more than 1 year after.
