Lost Planet 2 Multiplayer demo questions?

I have got the demo and i have a few questions:

When you customize your character, whenever you play a match you are always another random character, not yours. Why is this?

Also, what is the thermal energy about, when you hold triangle and L2 (on ps3) and it charges then fires a yellow thing?? It doesnt seem to do anything.

Sometimes when you throw a grenade it explodes when you throw it causing you to die. wtf?

And finally whats that ting in the top left corner near the life bar? it is a circle with numbers in and when the bar around the numbers fills up, the numbers get higher?

1. It's a DEMO !!!

2. You can spare termal energy to your teammates with it.

3. The hitbox from the grenade is awful !

4. It's your termal energy indicator. If it hits zero, you can't use the harmonizer and VS's.

The thing with the greanade is a feature, not a bad hitbox.


You can shot nades in mid air and if you throw nades too fast then the chainreaction, caused by the explosions, can and will always kill you. So yeah, never spam nades and always watch what your enemy is doing. Some people will shot your nades cauz most people just spaming nades as soon as they encounter enemy players ;)
