Previously exclusive to select community members and available via giveaways on various websites, the Lost Planet 2 multiplayer demo is now available for download via Xbox LIVE and tomorrow on Playstation Network.

No it's not correct.
US & Europe all on the 11th. Japan a week later
The German distribution is different to else where and to make sure that every store has it by the 11th they will start to roll out the game from the 7th so some people might get it earlier. It's no different to online sites posting the games out a couple of days early

Sites like gamestop.de and amazon.de have the release date as 7th May. How can this be? :blink:

I don't know ! I live in germany, but i pre ordered my copy from the austrian shop.

Darüber hinaus gibt Capcom ein neues Veröffentlichungsdatum bekannt: Lost Planet 2 wird in Deutschland auf Xbox 360 und PlayStation 3 am Freitag, den 7. Mai erscheinen. Eine PC-Fassung ist für Herbst anberaumt.

I officialy confirm its on 7th May for Germany, Austria and Switzerland :mexwave:

Capcom is also pleased to confirm that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Lost Planet 2 will now be hitting stores on Tuesday May 11th, one week earlier than previously announced. A PC version is scheduled for release this autumn.

It is released the same day for everyone! (exept the Japanese!) Basicailly in big countries where it takes ages to get the copies to all of the stores they have to start distributing the game a couple of days before hand to make sure it's in all shops by the launch date.
It's no different than when people order from the internet and get teh game a couple of days early for example.

yea but he ment that the game OFFICIALY releases on 7th May for the German speaking countrys (Germany, switzerland and austria) and thats unfair for him and for other ppl (not for me xD).
The German Community Manager (Timothy *Sun (http://www.capcom-europe.com/forum/member.php?u=305621)) on this forum says that its the 7th May instead of 11th. It also says on every german online shop like amazon.

It will be availalable from 7th but the 11th is the launch date... sounds bizarre I know.
All it means is that it will be available in all stores by the 11th. Exactly the same in the US. Every store will have it by the 11th.

Amazon Germany says May 7th in stock
Amazon UK says 11th May in stock
I already saw the game in store yesterday (6 may), its frustating though because I am short on money atm, so I didn't get it :(
Anyone who is in the Netherlands, Belgium or in Germany check Mediamarkt. It might also be in other stores, Mediamarkt is just where I saw it.
