Afternoon All,
I'm here to recruit 4 elite teams of LP2 fans to represent Capcom Europe in our upcoming multiplayer demo.
I need 2 teams of eight X360 players (16 in total) and 2 teams of eight PS3 players.

It's a multiplayer demo, not a tourny - get the code, download it and play with friends :)

Go to www.lostplanet2game.com (http://www.lostplanet2game.com), select country, scroll down under the media player, go to the Be the First to Fight banner, click on Sign up if you're registered with capcom-europe.com and enter your email and password or click on Register if you aren't. Then select format (360 or PS3, unless you're in Germany, where it's 360 only), submit and you'll get a code on 31st March (360) or 1st April (PS3).

In my defence I was also drunk, and when I got out of my mech, it exploded and I was caught in the hellish fireball. It counted as a suicide

Although I asked to signed up for the xbox 360 I'm flying out of the country on the 9th April :(, I'd take my xbox with me, but I can't say 100% I'll have a good/any internet access :( ....

I signed up for the demo first thing yesterday, and I have not had a code sent to me. Yet I read on other forums that people have already downloaded the demo today. I have all Capcom products that exist on the Xbox 360 even imported the Biohazard 5 Capcom e-edition from play-asia and had to pay tax so I spent £200 on RE5, yet people who probably don't have all the Capcom products on there selected console have got there demo :help:
When do u get the code for the demo? =( I applied for one on 26th March (Xbox) and I still can't get it, I'd really want to play lp2 :)

I don't want to come across as being rude, but maybe you should stop jumping to conclusions about things.
It is not a scam. Sometimes things like this take a little bit of time to get sorted out, so please have some respect for the company. They don't need to really give us anything, but they do.
Regarding the codes, here's some information for you all, from Tenebra herself:

I call that a scam, especially when I have spent so much on Capcom products over the years. :flamesangry:its not good enough sorry but today is my day of its midday here and Im out all day tomorrow at University.

The codes will be send out today to every one who registered on http://www.lostplanet2game.com/
So every one WILL get it somewhere TODAY. Capcom has some trouble with the sites but the server that contains the registrations is still up. so they are looking in to ways to get the mails out to the players that have registered! So please hang in there with your old garbling hooks you will soon get new ones!!

No. If other gaming websites have LP2 demo codes, then they will send them out when they're told to, by whoever is in charge of that department of the company.
If different places have it, then they will all do things independently. You can't blame Capcom for that.
I've given out all of the information needed, so just enjoy the demo when you receive the code. :)

I've never seen what a ps3 code looks like but its certainly no Live code thats for sure, this is poor not only slow sent out emails but there not even real codes, I did say this was a scam and looks like I was right :blink:
Capcom where are you we need you to wake up :sleepy: your site is in need of some tlc stat :stretcher: the Blur beta didn't have this problem. maybe demo only via code is a bad idea! I wonder how much they paid to get codes generated for them :bash:a better method would a be a pre order bonus oh well :(

zero ps3 codes have 12 digits only !
i'm pretty sure i know what happened the size of the picture send in the mail fits only PSN codes so when the xbox code was copy/paste in the mail it is too long so we only have the first 3 blocks
if i'm right i think i deserve a job at capcom or at least a free collector limited edition of the game

Yea i did'nt word that greatly, basically i signed up a while back, but i thought it signed me up for it. I was told like an hour ago that you had to sign up again for the code etc. So basically i'm not gonna get the code, and the website won't load! :(
Theres some sorta fault with the xbox codes - they're only sending the first 3 parts (15 characters) of the 25 needed, so they're all useless!

just got a valid code just sign up again with the same account, i kept clicking on sign in and xbox 360 and it gave me a 25 digit code just keep clicking on it and it will send you 1. i tried about 5 times.
Thanks for including me in the Lost Planet 2 Multiplayer matches. I got the code by email, but it's a PSN code and you drafted me for the X360 team. I can play either one, I just need the right code.

I'm grateful to the fact that its free but a demo after all is a taster to get people to buy the game, if you cant get a taste for whats to come how can you decide.
And what makes it worse is some have had the demo since the early hours of today via an alternate method so what gives :poke: good to see after many hours something was done.

yeah I saw it at Eurogamer as well, Ive only got into one game online with the full 16 players, alot of people drop out though when they start losing, but Im all about the practicing. I played one game earlier where my character skin was a scantily clad lady, I spent about a minute trying to spin the camera round to get a better look at the detail thats been put into the models. gotta say Im pretty impressed!
As for all the people thanking me, tis no problem. Just helping my fellow gamers

This is no good for team play and setting up strategies. Maybe an update can be brought out in time so that we can have selected people in a certain team, but if not, I guess the scores will be tallied up from each individual player, and then posted as a team.
If that's the case, it pretty much puts an end to playing as a team. :(

Right, Razor and Samshoot haven't replied to my pm's, so if I don't have a response by first thing monday morning (9am GMT), then I'm going to replace them.
It's hard enough finding extra people for this, so I would rather get replacements instead of wasting time, trying to find out if these guys will or won't turn up.
This might seem harsh to some people, but I think it's unfair to keep those waiting who have confirmed being able to play. Also, we can't play in teams, so I don't know why we're having a tournament. I was hoping to do this strategically. Ah well. Gotta find more people anyway.

I agree, is there really much point continuing until we have found a solution to the team problem. A team based tournament without an option to be in teams just doesn't make sense :chin:

Well, I'm hoping a special server will be set up, which will allow us to actually have our own organised teams.
I can only do one thing to hope for that:

I've played it, and came in the top 4 or so in a few games. I'm not bad at it, but then I sucked at the multiplayer in the original game, so I think this is a huge improvement.
I'm really looking forward to the campaign co-op more than anything.
JoaoPT, Carb, Shadowrep - You all up for co-op'ing through the story when this comes out?

I'm also worried about that too, but I can't really do anything about that, it's up to Capcom to patch update that :)

thats if they patch it and 2 of the people I PM'd to say they have been picked haven't even confirmed -_-. I think they came for codes got them off the said site then buggered right off to somewhere else
I'm starting to think maybe the people who organised this thought this demo would have team changing in it.
Maybe those people (or person) should just come forward and explain it was a mistake :blink:
Anyways, I'm done ranting and worrying about this now :D They will either fix it or they won't. Either way we can always just mess around in random teams and have fun if it doesn't work out :D

Sorry for the delay - i've been catching up on mails etc from the easter break.
It appears there has been an oversight from the development team with regards to team selection - In short the demo doesn’t allow any.
My only recommendation would be for the meet-up's to still go ahead just from a social perspective and some fun community mixes, with the proviso that a more formal tournament will be set-up on the games release.

Just a quickie - It is only one 10 minute match isn't it? Or, does it no longer matter as we'll be doing a tourny with the actual games release?
Edit: I'm not bothered. I haven't slept all night, as I completed all of the Trials HD Extreme tracks, and only have one more achievement to get for the entire game, and completed Super Street Fighter 2 HD Turbo Remix...........so, I'll just play until people get bored. :p

yeah, indeed. In LP1 only unranked matches allowed the players to choose the team.
Good thing is: LP2 MP demo offers unranked games only
Bad thing is: the feature for team switching is locked (demo limitation) xD

Well there might not have been a tournament but some of us had a blast last night. We were not all in the same team but I saw people playing the demo when sending messages, and I think that made it worth it right?
Hope you guys make the most of those demo codes and that we have a few more matches together! It was really nice to play it with those in my party last night. Sorry I left a bit early but was really tired from the journey back home. :)
Also to anyone who wants to join in the fun I still have spare demo codes. So don't be shy and send me a message. There is plenty of fun to be had with the CAPCOM community guys. :D

I know its disappointing not to have team selection in the demo, hopefully its been a good chance to play some other communities and get a feel for LP2. It'd be good to get some more feedback.

Hey guys!
I played yesterday, and the only people who showed up on my team were Shadowrep and Dan Seto. The other guys couldn't get on for some reason.
Anyway, Zuler didn't accept my friend request, and when Tuffcub did, he didn't join my game, and said he was setting something up when I tried to invite him, but then didn't invite me either.
So, I set up a game for myself, Dan and Shadowrep, and then waited for people to turn up. We played an hours worth of matches with random people, and it was good fun, but a shame we couldn't play a proper tournament.
I won't lie when I said I had a blast, though. I was mainly setting up 4 vs 4 matches. My only annoyance is that now a tournament is being set up on the games release, I don't know if I can play, as I just can't afford anything right now.
It's my birthday on the 16th, and I'm saving up to go out with friends on the 17th for a day of shopping in Brighton, lunch at Burger King, Clash of the Titans and finishing up in Jamie Oliver's restaurant.
So, I won't have enough money to purchase it. Only way I can is if I somehow won a copy of the game. Hint hint! :p

The way these things are done seems a little un fair to the on line gamers that actually played the first lost planet...played I mean hammered it, went out and bought the platinum edition for the extra little bit of content and hammered that too, only to discover that the allocation of early access codes are done via an internet forum on a fist come first serve basis...what happened to looking after loyal players? you would have at least thought first hand outs of the codes would have been to those that pre ordered the game.
