Hey, just starting to get to grips with this game, and while it is very good I'm having a few problems with the online mode.
Quite a few games seem to have lag issues, varying from annoying to totally unplayable, can anyone tell me how I quit during a match? A couple of times now I've had to just stand still and let them beat me because the lag is so bad. I know quitting mid-match is frowned upon, but what are you supposed to do when the match is unplayable? I'm also having a few problems with it dropping connection whilst searching for an opponent, and its not my internet connection. Anyone else get this?
Second question, when I beat the game and see the ending, I'm sure it says 'this ending is now available in the gallery' or something like that. My gallery is still greyed out though? have I misunderstood?
Thanks in advance!
I'll frown about the quitting mid-match, since I try to play even with lag, and won't respond to the first question.
However, to see the gallery (and the ending) you have to purchase them from the shop first.
I think the actual ending message is:
"Ending (Character) is now available for purchase" ;)

Thanks for the reply Jarlino, I didn't think I could find the endings to purchase either, but I'll have another look tonight.
As for the quitting mid-match, I totally hear what you are saying, but when it can take quite a long time to find an opponent, only for it to be totally unplayable, its starting to test my patience! I always try and complete a match if I can, but as I said there have been times I've just stood there and took a beating because it just wasn't worth the effort!

You can't rage quit without turning the Wii/Router off. Not worth it really. A wired connection works better if you can do that (although you'll need to by the adapter). Also it might be worth setting your filter to domestic, the closer you are to your opponent the more lag free you'll be. There's also a few settings on the Wii and router to look at.
Of course lag also be the result of a bad isp.
Also, a useful tip I saw on TV today; put some kitchen foil behind your wireless router to improve the signal. Try to angle it towards the hardware.

Thanks for the reply iceclimber. I already am using a wired connection and have virgin media (and it still often says 'internet connection lost' while searching for opponent). I'm a bit reluctant to limit my searches to domestic etc, as it takes a long time to find a match anyway!
To be honest I've lost interest in playing the game online, and pretty much lost interest in the game full stop. I played SFIV online at a friends house and thought it was amazing. As a Wii owner I bought Tatsunoko expecting a similar online experience. I'm just gonna bite the bullet and get a PS3 in time for Super SFIV and trade in TvsC.
Oh, and I saw that tip about the foil on the gadget show too!

I do that - about a 40% improvement through two supporting walls :)
